    Default Archer Love

    A few idea's I had last night when I couldn't sleep.

    • How about "burst" arrows? i.e 20 +3 arrows of shocking burst? Damages not just the mob but any mob within 5 foot of it what it connects. Does not activate on any mobs passed through via precise shot or improved precise shot.
    • Arrows with minor spells attached. Arrows of Web for example. Same as above, affect will only go off on targetted mob and not on any mob passed through on the way. Arrow of Grease. Arrow of Hypnotic Pattern etc...
    • Arrows of Disruption, Smiting etc... Make them rare but they will help bridge the gap for those that cannot afford a bow of said effect.
    • Never-emptying quiver of blah blah blah... Plenty of stories out there about the magic quiver that never gets empty. Wouldn't make it overpowering, just plain +1, +2 or +3 arrows that can be used as a backup and save backspace.
    • Bow of Multi shot. Has a chance of duplicating any arrow fired from it. Say 40% chance of 2 arrows, 15% of 3 arrows and 5% of 4 arrows. Does not stack with multi shot.

Might be some nice love to go down on top of the stuff planned for Arcane Archer.

Please, don't bring up Rate of Fire in this thread, it has been done to death and I am sure the Dev's are well aware we would like it improved.

How about tactical arrows like crippling, hamstring, tendon slice, and tripping?

Or prefix/suffix arrows, nothing says death from above like holy arrows of pure good.

Correct except undead slaying arrows (critical hit only) are less powerful then disruption which triggers on each hit. Smiting weapons display "you have hit construct with greater construct slaying."

You're both correct and didn't think of those.

Slaying arrows work on every hit (I just tested it on Undead Slayers to be sure).

If you are ever bored, collect or purchase a stack of Gnoll Slayers and go run Ritual Sacrifice with a dex-based character.

Interesting. I'll have to reread those next time I see some.
