Sorry to say but the AM channel suddenly became into a noob central (notice the term noob not newbie) and that i did not like. The AM channel was supposed to be a great channel for friends who enjoy raiding. and when you wipe 3 times with an AM channel party, you know something is wrong. And don't forget that some people in the AM channel do not care about the need before greed concept .

I think the AM channel will always be there Oz. But, I won't be grouping in that channel unless its a Shroud. No raid loot in shroud to be argued, robbed, ninja or traded in chest hoping no-one will see over.

For about 2-3 weeks I've been throwing up LFMs over blanket invites to AM. At least that way I have a "reject" button. Advertising in AM really pressures party leaders to take people they don't want.

Ruh-roh.... Suddenly the elite channel became sub standard? Man I go away for a month to play LOTRO and now new super secret bff channels are all over the place.

Erekose's predictions were right.

AM is experiencing difficulties because of poor discipline of the password; Plain and simple.

That said; I really don't think it was the best idea to spam this on the Argonessen forums. IMHO, that's one of the major contributing factors to AMs recent decline. Too many people knew about it, they inquired about it, and their friends didn't want to see them excluded. See the problem here? Basically what you've done here, is make some people a target for those who are their friends, want to be included, but have absolutely no business in such a channel. How are those people going to feel when they have to decline a very good friend from membership? I can tell peeps I can't give them access. I've done it numerous times. I know a few of the others can do the same. But I also know some will cave. Best predictor of future behavior = past behavior.

Anyway, just my 2 cps.
