Price Check +5 Kama of Greater Constuct Bane

Trying to come up with a fair price on this. I looked on the AH and could not even find a Greater Construct Bane for sale.

Would I be asking too much for a piercing weapon with greater constuct bane in return? Plat value?

It won't be viewed as too valuable. It doesn't beat adamantine DR, and the most common reason to use greater construct weapons is in Shroud part 1, where attack bonus doesn't matter. It has the minor benefit of allowing a monk to continue to build Ki while hitting portals, but that's only a small help.

I may have a piercing GCB I could trade for it. Its probably a +1 dagger with something useless on it though. I'll check when I get in game later this afternoon.

The fact that it is +5 helps b/c it has more damage per hit getting more damage through the dr of portals. The negative penalty for not being proficient is completely over come as well. I guess since kamas have low base damage another weapon would be desireble. A straight up trade for a d6 damage weapon that is piercing would be fair... H pick, short sword or rapier; light picks, daggers, shuriken would not be worth it imo
