w/p anything - what's it going to cost me?

I'm leveling up a fighter type, so In figured I should start the hunt for a w/p.
He'll have improved crit: slash, so I'm looking preferably for a slasher.

Whats the price check right now on a half-decent w/p slashing weapon?

w/p are only on pierce weapons. You can find wounding slash weapons on the ah pretty easily and arnt that pricey.

Yep, puncturing stuff can only be put on pierce weapons, bone breaking on bludgeoning, and im pretty sure enfeebling on slashing. W/P shortswords go for several hundred thousand plat, with daggers being not much less. W/P rapiers go for more several million plat. W/P heavy/light picks go for under 500k pp.

One option is going wounding of maiming and be like a support type for wounding fo puncturing wielders.

Probably gonna cost more than what you have if you didn't know you could only get w/p in piercing form. I would suggest you don't bother, they're overrated. I have some and never use them.

W/P daggers/shortswords are a lot more than that - closer to 2-2.25 million plat.

I have at least one enfeebling rapier. Vorpal only come on slashing.

Also, not sure if it is an error that will be corrected, but transmuting picks have slash and pierce in them..

transmuting does all damage, just depends on what bypasses DR and thats what you get in your combat log. it defaults to slashing tho, so thats why you see it on your log when fighting things that dont have dr to slash/pierce/etc.
