How will Kensai benefit archer?

I read it in the Complete Warrior, but I don't have access to the Oriental Adventures one...

One would believe they would know Crit Multiplier enhancement are bad idea... right? Right?!

Well, the crit range expansion is still static in OA. It's the crit mult (x2, x3, etc) that's per rest rather than static.

Which is why Barb/Kensai builds would be absurd if they go with OA's Kensai. 11-20 Rapiers? Stupid, stupid, stupid.

Aren't you more scared of Kensai/Tempests?! I am. Ranged combat isn't the most imbalanced thing in the game, by far. Ask Turial.

This is one of the reasons I don't think we should be able to mix PRC from classes unless it is one that is available due to race (elven spell singer/arcane archer type of thing).

We will see how things are once the new arcane archer stuff comes out. While it may not be the final thing to save ranged combat it may give a nice boost.

Arcane Archer has no chance of saving Ranged combat because it is only a limited build type. You have to change the core of Ranged not an Addon to Ranged in order to fix the problems.
