    Default Looking for some help.

I'm looking to make a rogue for my next character.

This is the importance of skills I'd like her to have:

    1) Trap / Disable
    2) UMD
    3) Saving throws
    4) Damage and such
    5) Everything else

I'm partial to making human rogues because of the extra feat / skill points, but drow would be reasonable as well. Don't really want another dwarf (warrior and a cleric is enough).

Is this even a viable build? I didn't put down specifics because I really don't have any, just a vague blueprint right now.

I'm more worried about which race to use and whether I have to multi-class to make her viable.

I think this would work for you as you can go all out trap guy...or take the TwF feats where there at and be a good DPS and traps as well.

    Hope it helps

Some great builds on the rogue forums, check 'em out. I like some of Impaqt's builds.

I like elves and my 28 pt is doing fine with the skills you list.

I would like to try, and many recommend a halfling.

Hehe, I don't play enough to be able to count on tomes for builds, but the link gave some good starting points.

I'll check impaqt's stuff, thanks for the tip.

    Understandable:

Just drop the wisdom to 10...you lose 1 to potential AC and a will save...take INT to 17 that way your dont need a +1 tome ...you still qualify for TwF feats before 9th from the level bonuses....and you can always buy a CHA tome later down the road from the AH, there usually the cheapest ones 250,000 to 350,000 gp....not to hard to get there.

    Again, hope this helps you.

It does. And I found some other interesting build ideas with multi-classing involved.

This will probably wait until the new newbie area, as I should cap the warrior and at least get the cleric up to 12 before I start fooling with other classes.

But I have a lot of ideas now, thanks a lot for the help!
