Default warforged rogue and way of the mechanic question

Hello everyone. A fleshie rogue in our permadeath guild is a way of the mechanic user, and he uses his enhancement to give a repair over time to warforged in our party. I have been thinking of making a warforged rogue in our guild, and I was wondering if this enhancement will work on self? I know a lot of the cleric enhancements like the heal over time enhancement that uses a turn will not work on self.

Yes it works on yourself, I have a 16 Warforged Rogue (well with some ranger and fighter splashed in) and took Way of The Mechanic to shore up a low starting INT and no racial enhancements to trap type skills.

It works on yourself and I usually use it either to repair myself after a fight or more often before or at the start of a fight, this allows someone else to establish aggro 1st while I am tying my shoes and helps mitigate any incomming damage I am going to take.

No, just for way of the mechanic 1, it's got a level 6 class requirement.

So you'd need 6 levels of rogue to get the first way of the mechanic.

It's the equalizer when it comes to Warforged Rogues, and makes us some of the best out there. It completely mitigates the lack of intelligence and WIS we'd have in comparison to a Drow rogue, while making us tougher and harder to kill.

I'm working on an intimitank rogue with bluff skills so I can basically push and pull a mob when I need to. So far at level 6 with his shield and combat expertise on, he's pushing over 30 AC. And I should expect him to start hitting 50 with buffs in the later levels with a high DEX. all while hitting 40 ranks of DD OL Spot and search.
