Default a mission i would like to see in ddo, feel free to add a mission you would like.

a village on the outskirts of stormreach has been overrun and must be saved!
it's been done before in other games, but in ddo it would be great to rescue a village as well as the castle that overlooks said village.

now for me a village overrun with bugbears/minotaurs/ogres/trolls/orcs/hobgoblins all lead by a frost giant would be perfect.
maybe at different difficulty levels have different enemies....like the invasion mission in the marketplace.

the village(pt 1) is overlooked by a castle(pt 2) that has been overrun as well and that is where the leader of the evil tribe rests.
between pt one and two would be an area with a tavern/caravan shop/healers and many wounded village folks with high tales to tell.

the village would have a good amount of bad guys placed far enough apart. so that on solo/normal setting a lone ranger or rogue can vanquish the enemies without having to worry too much about the entire stage attacking them. you want a challenge then put it on the higher settings, more enemies per area.

now after you clear the village of bad guys and by killing the second in command you head to the rest area toward part two the castle.

the castle should have a great interior with many enemies to stop us from taking back the castle. the cries and screams of there evil comrades have alerted them to the hero/heroes presence. many rooms to explore from bottom dungeon to top floor of the castle. a good amount of chests to loot as well as secret areas to find. many tactics can be had in narrow areas and doorways in this castle. so a duo team on normal would have a challenge but be capable of clearing the stage with good teamwork.

the final battle would be in the great hall against the frost giant leader and his mighty generals. to get to the hall requires keys from the throughout the castle that you must find.

the village mission and castle mission would be considered long. maybe 25 minutes each to play.
would also be awesome to aquire the castle for player housing or even just a house in the village...ah maybe in time lol.

this is just a suggestion that i would love to see in ddo.

    btw sorry for grammer/spelling mistakes.

    I like the idea
A friend will bail you out of jail.
A mate will be sitting in there beside you saying "**** that was awsome!!!"

A warforged settlement is being harrassed by slave hunting fleshlings, intent on reinstating the mass exploitation of the living constructs. They have camped out in the surrounding wilderness and have been picking of wandering wf as they wander away from the settlement. Realizing they can't just starve the wf out, they are now preparing for a full scale invasion.

Your party is tasked with sabotoging key pieces of fleshling siege equipment (and of course slaughtering any fleshlings who get in your way), then lead the wf settlement in a glorious charge against the vile fleshlings.

Quest rewards include elf slave girls to use as mules.

Not a bad idea. Not sure what the posters replying with "Elven slave girl mules" are adding to the discussion, but it sounds pretty good to me.

That's a good idea for a quest objective. Stop the saboteurs trying to infiltrate the town and blow up the oil silo.

Now Now Ghoste, don't go misquoting me.

I was talking about the enslavement of the warforged race, not the fight to free them. There's a reason why constructs are among my favored targets. (Ok, turbine, I need a Calvin-esque smiley icon, right here. You know, the one where Calvin's thinking of something really devious, like stealing his babysitter's test notes and flushing them down the toilet.)

Secret of Bone Hill- The blue dragon staff was a favorite.
Tomb of Horrors- If the Demi Lich kills you, you lose one level that has to be earned back not restored
Dungeonland- With the right DM this module absolutely messed with your head.
Isle of Dread- Dinosaurs, nuff said.
The whole giant series from Steading of the Hill Giant Chief to Spider Queen
White Plume Mountain- Blackrazor for my fighter, Whelm for my barbarian, and Wave for my Rougue
    **** it Jim, I'm a Cleric not a babysitter.

And I suppose you're not a fan of elf slave girls either? Oh well.

    Seconded!

Plus I'll add The Slavers series (A1-4). Awesome mid-high level stuff!
And the Ghost Tower of Inverness (C2). A fantastic combo of puzzles/thinking and hack & slash!

As was the suppression of those unnatural aberrations we call warforged....

Default Halflings and Animals Discover Source of Evil Power

A remote jungle village of halflings and the animals that were their livestock, pets, companions, etc. have found an extremely powerful source of evil that has tainted their minds and made them power-hungry servants of dark gods.

Your job is to fight your way in, find the source of power and of course destroy it.

The halflings are level 18 equvelant but have an extra +2 to all spell DC's and both halflings and animals are +2 to all stats, saves, etc.. Animals and halflings attack and some halfling clerics hide out in the trees where they are extremely hard to get to, but from where they can cast MASS RESTORATION on any animals or halflings in the fight that may take stat damage, as well as heals in case someone actually uses non-stat damage to attack anything.

I'd also like to see a really cool new animation where the halflings trip and dogpile players when they can surround somone - once under a deranged halfling dogpile you get punctured (wounded so as to negate fort that everyone wears) to death rapidly with 2 poison wounding dagger attacks/halfling/round. You can't get up or attack until the halfling dogpile has been reduced to 3 or fewer halflings (once tripped and dogpiled you need your group to save you...)

I'd like some ambushes where 3 caster halflings will pop out of the bushes jsut behind the party and cast in unison - either combination break enchantment/mass hold person or 3 cone of colds at once, maybe once casts web, antoher solid fog, another cloudkill, then all 3 start spamming cone of cold - serious caster ambushes that will wipe the ususpecting party until they devise some strategies to avoid death.

It's outdoor, but I want traps that cause you to fall into pits (punji sticks) and maybe a few of the classic rope and bent tree traps - you get caught and it launches you a few hundred yards and does 100-300 damage depending upon your tumble skill. If you get thrown forward you may aggro craploads of mobs and it may be wise to accept death rather than trying drag everything back to the group through the traps, etc..

The source of evil should be the rabbit from Monty Python's Holy Grail, and it should have a leap attack with vorpal teeth and some special ability to bypass deathward.

Well that's the basics - gotta find a use for those greater halfling bane, greater animal bane weaps, and mix things up a bit. Would be awesome to some day see someone use their beloved WoP rapier only to have the stat damage healed to full by an enemy cleric.

Default Bringing the Light, part 2

Yes, a sequel to the harbor quest for silver flame: Bringing the Light. (the one where you smash gambling tables).

    Lvl 15 quest.
The culprits are at it again, and set up a casino in the marketplace. But this time, the security has been increased...

Casino entrance: Speak to a Minotaur bodyguard. He asks you to leave all weapons at entrance. Of course, party refuses, fights starts. Encounter: Minos and some Golem Sentries.

As they progress, they fight: some Minos and Troll security enforcers. LOTS of Golem Sentries and Guardians. Some angry patrons spellcasters.

They learn from a NPC at the end that there is a special hidden table for Stromreaches' elite citizen to play high bids. They force the entry but are too late, the room is empty.

But, the player find evidence that Haywire is probably a regular gambler, and it explains where the casino gets all their Security Golems...
