Does your cleric use sound burst? Holy Smite? Greater Command?
She uses Greater Command on almost every encounter. I then use diplomacy because a commanded monster will switch targets to her after using diplomacy even though it can't move. I get SA's on all the sleeping monsters that way.

Thanks for the advice on doors! I assume it doesn't work on valves though, right?

thanx, guys. my bro took a two handed all the way, self healing cleric. we aslways recruit new guys for our party, but I would really like to try something very extreme.
Could you point me out a 28pt build for a rogur/bard. traps and buffs. completely non-fightable, but purely for the party. super buffs as much as it can be + trap monkey. i want to try pure int/cha/dex build. i wont even need high ac/saves, for i will not do ANYTHING to enemies!
can you help me on this one? btw, i will need a drow for that, but i dont have enough favor now....

A 2 man party of a pure elven cleric and a pure elven paladin can go a LONG way in the game. You can multiclass the paladin for some decent rogue skills and evasion too. Each class has access to cure wands, scrolls, lesser restore wands, resist spells/wands and other spells and effects along with heavy armor and a decent selection of weapons. An elven cleric is naturally proficient with long swords and bows and has enhancements to boost to hit/damage with longswords too.

    A good combo to try:

Drow Rogue2/Cleric14 - Max intimidate, DD, and search
    WF Sorc16

You are both 100% self sufficient for quests where the party must split, you can disable traps, you wont have to worry about running out of SP, neither of you 'needs' UMD since your 2 person group can use every useful wand/scroll, Drow has evasion and WF has instant cast self heals (both of you need quicken).

Unfortunately as a cleric/rogue you may not have enough skill points to spare for open lock.

A 28pt rogue/cleric could be tricky to pull off but is still doable. I'd dump Intimidate on a 28pt cleric as it would probably be tough stat-wise to keep your WIS, AC, HP, and skills all at a workable level. At that point you only need a moderate AC (displacement from Sorc), high (for a drow) HP, and decent WIS. Stick to AOE CC spells like greater command and Symbol of persuasion and you wont notice -2 penetration and -1 DC from 16 base WIS much.

My advice for this party would be to cast invis on the party and run straight to each objective recasting invis as needed.

As far as your rogue/bard not needing AC/saves/HP.... Spells like cometfall, attacks like cleave, and random aggro-ing monsters will ruin your day.

Drow favor is very easy to get. Finish the entire harbor on elite + stk elite + TR elite and you should be there or **** close. A day of grinding at best.
