+3 Seeker Rapier of Puncturing (ML 16)

+3 seeker (+8) [edit] rapier of puncturing (ML 16) for sale or trade. Primarily looking for large ingreds.

If you don't have a w/p rapier, ss or dagger, this is about as good as it gets.

I also have a couple vorpal handaxes and a silver sickle of disruption I don't use if anyone has interest in those.

i think a bloodstone eliminates the sexy seeker part of the weapon

i would guess that most players who have large ingredients have a bloodstone

therefore, that weapon is not worth any larges IMO

i would not give you 10,000 plat for it

The sexy part of the +6 seeker is that you DON"T need a bloodstone. Instead you can wear the head of good fortune, or jerky, or voice of the master, or w/e else.

As for the red-highlighted part, are you seriously saying that getting a bloodstone is as easy as doing all of 5 quests to get one shroud run done?

It is. As everything in this game, randomness defines it all. One level 8 rogue, first run in the desert, one bloodstone and a pair of firestorm greaves. Woot.

Funny thing is my own rogue had similar luck in the desert, but my many rerolled casters have all come up empty on bloodstones.

Oh and to compare getting larges (guaranteed 1 per shroud run, easily flagged for even by blind tibetan tree-hamsters) with getting a bloodstone is ludicrous :P

And for those that dont know how to build a character, This is for a dual over-sized weilding ranger/rogue/wizard that has a +3 bodyfeeding rapier of punc and this as the off hand with a head of good fortune as the trinket

That is indeed a nice weapon, I have a similar one on Khyber (+4 Seeker 4 rapier of Pucturing).

Lets you keep Kardin's Eye equipped all day.

if you have a bloodstone, you might want the weapon to keep something else equipped all of the time

getting a bloodstone is as easy as getting larges in the shroud, i.e., if you have enough larges & you find the right player with an extra bloodstone in the bank, you will have your bloodstone

no need to even grind the desert for months, just grind the shroud

i got one of my bloodstones for 6 larges, i consider it a bargain

what do you really think this weapon is worth in comparison? 6 also, please, maybe 1

anyway, i will keep my bloodstone equipped & just get +6 seeker on all of my weapons rather than just one rapier

p.s. obviously a rapier has the best crit range for a puncturing weapon, but let's not overestimate its worth, i.e., a dagger version of the same weapon is currently on argo ah with buyout of 110,000 gold
