Mic not available to select

I recently purchased a new mic, since my laptop's built in one is really bad. However, I cannot select it to be the method through which my voice is captured in DDO. The only options are the built in mic and "Bluetooth hands free voice", which I don't currently have set up. I cannot set up my new mic, however. On ventrillo, though, it is working just fine.

I would check your system mic settings and change it so that the default one is the new one you purchased.
