Solo challenge ACCOMPLISHED

Since this is my server and since I started an earlier thread about this, I'm putting it here.

Tonight, I took another stab at my "Drunken Sleeping Dust Solo Challenge."

And tonight, after 119 minutes and re-entering 6 times, I DID IT!!!

Oh, how happy I was.

All night people kept asking to join for the flagging, and I kept turning them away. And finally, right when I had the bastard down to maybe 6% health, someone asked to join for flagging.

I said no.

He said he'd just watch.

I hemmed.

Hawed.

Felt like an ass for denying people flagging rights.

So I invited him.

And changed my LFM message to "WHO NEEDS FLAGGING you got two minutes."

Someone who asked me earlier /telled me from an alt, so she got in.

Then another.

And then, I went in and NUKED that punk.

Done deal.

Yes, there are people in the quest.

No, they didn't help.

Yes, they said they'd back me up on the forums, and I believe them.

It'd be cool if people believed me, but even if they don't, I'm cool with it.

Because I know I did it.

28 point build with lots of diplomacy and bluff (because I made him like a pnp wizard) soloed sleeping dust.

The icing is I helped 3 people get flagged.

I'm happy with myself.

Time for more Patron XO Cafe (scrumptious).

EDIT: I did die 6 times, hence the re-enters. I'm sure it's not "uber" but normal standards, but I'm irrationally proud of what I did, so there.

I'm proud of it. Not uber, don't really raid, don't have great gear. This was my first character ever made so he's got some creation faults.

I guess I don't see the purpose of coming into a thread to take a dump on it, but hey.

Just because something has been done before doesn't mean it isn't an accomplishment, don't listen to the party ****ers!

People have been graduating college and/or finding careers for a while now, but that doesn't stop more people from accomplishing those things...and it certainly doesn't make any of those less of an accomplishment.

That really sums it up. Even if you had "failed," yet had such a great time doing it that you felt compelled to post about it, that would be reason enough for "thumbs up."
