Is it sarcasm? I see the tongue smiley thingy...but I can't tell. Warlock is just about the most boring thing there is. Pretty darn powerful since it is very easy to hit with their blast, and it does unresistable damage, but very much a one-trick-pony. We call 'em that at the PnP table: OTP.

    DM: OTP, your turn.

    OTP: I blast stuff!

    DM: Surprise surprise...

Sure, they can add warlocks, but first we need Druids. Maybe even Favored Souls. And Gnomes. And Kalashtar. And Psions. And Shifters. and epic levels. after all that... sure, maybe they can cram warlocks in. you know, if they have time. and after they have debugged the others

Exactly, I have been clammoring for Druids and Favored Souls since before the "We want Monks!!!OMFGBBQ!!!!!1111" crowd started their pleas. More healing classes can never hurt, and the Monk has always been a joke in all my PnP games. Yeah, they get a tone of attacks, but at a **** poor BAB, and miniscule damage.

Druids add a hybrid Healing/DPS caster/secondary melee, and Favored Soul adds another Healer/secondary melee.

What does Monk add? Another splash class.

    "You chose........poorly!"

I wonder if they debugged in 2008 or if this poster was hopelessly optimistic.

To be fair, yes, they did in fact debug in 2008.

That the bugs that remain make it hard to tell is pretty sad, but I gave up on trying to make Turbine do anything reasonable back when they introduced Dungeon Alert just because they were mad about people running quests too quickly.

As for warlocks, I don't really care, but I always thought that they should be required to be of evil alignment.

I'm a little rusty on it but aren't they non-lawful non-good not inherently evil?

Technically they just had to be chaotic, but from a role-playing perspective, it was always difficult to imagine a warlock not winding up evil, whether they start out that way or not.

When all you've got is a hammer, everything starts to look like a kneecap.

They can be any chaotic or evil. Warlocks get their powers from certain chaotic *or* evil outsiders. That means Eladrin, the Fey, Devils or Demons, for the most part.

    Gnomes and Warlocks

I also don't see why this is in the multiclass section of the forums
