Default Cool idea (at least I think so) for Monks!

You know what would be pretty cool for Monks?

Levitating a little above the ground when they're meditating!

You could do this a couple of ways:

    1) Just how high they got off the ground would be dependant on what level they were. Example: A 10th level Monk could wind up levitating a foot or two off the ground while a 20th Monk could wind up levitating 5 or 6 feet off the ground or higher.

    or

    2) When a Monk reaches 20th level, he/she levitates about a foot off the ground while meditating. (I actually prefer this one myself)

It would have no real game affecting utility other than looking really cool.

This^, in so many words, is how you say time and feedback on Lamannia are wasted.

Hopefully they do this, probably not

    Nice idea!!

Tho, i would not like that being implemented...
Why?? I think devs got beter to do than doing cool things that NOT affect the gameplay.
I'd rather have the devs working on bugs and mods!!

But as I said, this is a nice idea and if ever implemented, would be really fun!!

Well, maybe some Dev will have the vision to see just how cool this is and work on it on their own time (free of charge to Turbine of course) at home or something and then work on mods/bug fixes while "on the clock."

    One could always hope anyway.

Wow, only two responses that aren't mine.

I'd have thought that at least those who play Monks would have had an opinion on my idea. I know more than two people play them.

    Its early yet Arkat

more than likely you will see a bunch of people say that the Devstime is better spent on content blah blah blah etc etc

and to an extent they are right.

But still those little things like this make the game more fun and interesting

so I say I like the idea
Rule 1: Don't sweat the small stuff
Rule 2: Its all small stuff
Rule 3: People are stupid. You, me everyone... expect it
more rules to come in a different sig

    Default Very Cool Idea

Had an idea like this ever since my monks first reaver raid...

I got fly beating on the reaver, went into the puzzle room and meditated for Ki in mid air...

    Looks very cool

I hear ya Aesop and I agree it's those little details that can really increase the "fun" factor of a game.

    Thanks!

    That DOES sound cool!

I'll have to try that the next time my Monk's in a Reaver Raid. Maybe a Dev will be playing one of his/her regular toons and see that.

    Thanks Gringo.

I agre its a nice idea and should be added, but the devs already have so much on their plate already, if it meant getting handwraps delayed I would say later for sure.

You know what? I'd certainly be ok with fixing all the broken stuff (e.g. handwraps) with Monks first. Just thought it would be fun to add at some point.

i don't think its a bad change, as long as it also applied to wholeness of body. add a couple of kobold prayer beads floating around us and we'd be set.

while they are doing this, i'd like for it be just a touch harder to break the stance though, especially wholeness of body.

    Agree on both points.
