Price check +1 wounding/puncturing rapier

Looking for esteemed opinion on what people consider to be an accurate or fair trade for one of these "rare" and hotly sort after items.

I was hoping for a calculation in raw plat and also a calculation in terms of large devil scales.

I have heard as high as 5 mil plat or about 36-48 large ingredients. Wish I had this issue right now :P

For me it would be like 300 hours
With times I fail, or the time I wait for guildies, or good groups that dont fail, or time where there just is not a shroud.
If I had to run the shroud 60 times I think I would throw up.

There so expensive because there the best item in the game... and its so rare to get wounding to line up with puncturing and then rapior.
With a well built barb and daul weild w/p rapiors U kill mobs on the average of 7 hits which could make U about 3 times more efficent over the average tank

Thanks for everyones input. A friend pulled a fresh one a few days ago. I said I would do some research for him.
So don't send me any tells. He reads the forums and would have seens who's posted what.

Or...maybe ALL the ingredients to make all the greensteel items that your toons required.

my best advice to this person though.....give it to a toon you have that can use it, or roll one.

Here's something I would consider fair, to give you an idea.

2 complete Mineral 2 upgrade sets (that is, 48 larges in the right mix for 2 Mineral 2 weapons)
1 Bloodstone
1 Boots of the Innocent
Several moderately good items (+5 MFP, +2 tomes, Planar Gird, one-handed finessable +3 vorpal, etc - maybe 4-5 items of this calibre)
Either a full Litany of the Dead tome fragment set, OR 2 million plat


I'd consider that pretty fair to both parties. (I picked Bloodstone & Boots as they are the highest value named items I can think of)

Um yeah. I was getting a price check for him. It's his loot to give to whoever, IDK one iota what he ends up doing with it. enuf said. As for MFP.... nothing compares to a w/p rapier for trade value on any server, so poor comparison.
