    So is it now that I tell you the IP I gave is a BOT that logs your passwords and lets me take your Gold !

    .... Jokes aside, its a pain to make these changes, there are some other things I need to turn the proxy off to run...

    I speculated that perhaps Turbine banned an IP which was really the Proxy...but didnt get a response.. who knows whose fault it is..but would be nice to resolve...

    Default TPG proxy issues

    Just as an update, I was able to get the issue forwarded onto their proxy admins who came back with the following response:

    "Dear TPG Customer,

    Thank you for writing to TPG Helpdesk.

    We referred this issue to our admin and were advised that you try not to hard code any proxy/DNS setting and try again.

    If the problem continues, please provide us the complete logs and error generated when it failed."

    The good news is that it looks like they did fix the issue their end, and I have been able to run without any proxy settings once again. This doesn't say it won't happen again, but hopefully it may stay fixed this time. If anyone else wants to test and let me know that would be cool to see how far the fix went.
