WTT: +2 str tome for new stuff

New ideas to trade my +2 str tome. I'll trade it for

at least 2 large scales + whatever

Edit: sorry, this thread did not generated immediate interest, and I assumed it had disappeared forever. Since posting, I have found the ingredients and am holding on to the tome unless a spectacular offer comes along.

im not sure if any1 will take these trades sorry, i may trade 2 large devil scales, but i wouldnt trade 1 + a bloodstone or 500k plat, its just not worth it, 500k is about enough for a bloodstone, but a bloodstone is i think 3 scales? (give or take a little) so sorry

No worries. You have a right to argue value, and I appreciate you doing it as politely as you did. Bloodstones have buyouts running 500-800k. 500k is probably more reasonable, I bought one within the last two weeks on the AH for 525k. I don't follow the AH 24/7 but I have been watching fairly closely. There has been one devil scale without buyout and I don't know what it went for. But the last ones I did see, which were weeks ago were also in the 500k range. Also, 2 scales for a +2 tome is a fairly common trade here on the forums. +2 tomes run 800k to 1500k on the AH. That also puts scales in the 500k range.

Anyway, I post all the above just to explain my rational, so no one thinks I'm taking advantage of anyone. However, since I originally posted, I have picked the ingredients for the item of interest at the time. The grind, FTW! Now, I probably wouldn't trade the tome without getting at least two scales for it.
