Wow, nothing but sour grapes from the op. This weapon is predominately a caster weapon and the last time I checked a cleric is a caster. I'd rather see a cleric take the dream splitter than a ranger any day of the week.

Wow, even my sorc, who has the dreamsplitter switches to dual wielding picks of puncturing for flesh to stoned or held mobs. Dreamsplitter is really only useful for the +2 Enchantment focus.

Cleric gets the dreamsplitter and he now has +2 on his enchantment dc's ( yes clerics have enchantment spells )

Ranger gets the Dreamsplitter and he gets +2 on hold animal ? WOOT and a stick that goes WOOWOO everytime he crits...
