Stargate Atlantis Cancelled, but new hope for third series

First the 10 year record breaking run of stargate sg1 is over...now, in its fifth and final year is stargate atlantis.

a 2 hour movie is scheduled to close teh season ending cliff hanger that will air in january.

lo, on the horizon, its the third series....Stargate Universe.

A younger group of explorers gets put in a position in the middle of nowehere in another galazy an dmust survive (kind of like lost in space meets star trek voyager)

Gonna miss you atlantis.

All in all, the entire series, both of them, made for a real cool 'mythos' of sorts....awesome run.

I wonder if they will be doing DVD's about Stargate Atlantis like they have done with Stargate SG1. I think they have done 3 or 4 DVD episodes/movies for SG1.
