corrupt installer/201 error

So I had to rebuild my computer because of hard drive failure. I lost my DDO installer too. So I redownloaded it..... 8 times and every time during the install I get the file is corrupt error. So the last time I said ignore, and eventually it patched and worked okay, except i can't see any minotaurs at all in game. Makes it hard to do GH stuff I can tell you.

So my GF has a perfectly working copy so I tried to copy her files directly to my computer and now I'm getting the 201 error, and YES I DO HAVE FULL ACCESS to all the DAT files.

So I dowloaded the cleint once again.... and surprise surprise more corrupt files.

I get 80gb DL a month... so far I've used 40 trying to get a working version of the client. This is bloody ridiculous. For chrsit sake chop the files up so if you do get an error, you can download a small amount rather than having to dl the whole thing in 700 or motre MB segments.

The first error I keep getting is the Hires client. DAT

In the meantime how the hell can I sort this out? I'm sick of spending 10 hours downloading, to find a corrupt installer and that its wasting most of my monthly data limits

The download file is not corrupt, if this is happening something with the connection or your systems firewall/security is causing the problem - especially since you are getting an error when trying to copy the files from another computer. Try making a new windows user account then installing.
