Categorical Guild Matchup Guildlistings

Hey Guys-

I'm going to get some updates done on the CGMG and would like input on things to tighten up categories, eliminate excess, etc. I'm also going to ask for a forum-wide update on any additions to the CGMG in the Player to Player Guild Match-up Section. Argonnessen helped lead the way (50% representation over there right now).

A lot of ya may not know this, but before Aargos took over the Argonnessen Guildlistings there were 3 other operators, the last being myself. The first was MantisDragon and second was The Heroic Example of Argonnessen, Shinmafox. When Shinma did one of his vacation trips for a few months I took over the Guildlistings for a year, then passed it off to Aargos in order to try to fix what was the main recruiting thread for the entire game -- CGMG in the Guild Matchup Section.

Check out that forum if you've never bothered & get your guild a Thread to bump every few weeks so people know about you. For instance, Ransacked is Recruiting -- they could be bump'n over there too and grab people from servers that they're disenchanted with, or new players that are strolling into the Harbor for the first time. It's a suggestion, not mandatory obviously.

Secondly, Tolero also created a section to help "show off" guilds in the ddowiki. I highly recommend ya check it out and get your guild up there -- you might be in their new Chronicle Flyer that they shell out every week with 5 guilds listed in the flyer.

I appreciate any help or suggestions. This is about that time of the year when I do some creative updates. Once the CGMG is "updated" significantly I'll be working on The Path To Power (Advanced Version 2.0) guide & then The Chronotrigger Alliance Initiative (which can't be posted on the forums due to its sensitivity for the level 18 cap & new race/class release in 2009).

That's my update. Please check out the Guild Match-Up forums for the CGMG and post some suggestions in THIS thread if you got any, or post in this thread/pm me your update or new guild to add to the CGMG. Try to be as specific as possible (and accurate) so I don't have to guess about any of the info and what goes where in your listing.

Request: If you haven't gotten your guild on the CGMG or you need it updated, please respond to this thread and I'll coordinate with your officers/guild leader to get an accurate listing or updated listing.

This is for ANYONE, so long as you know who your guild leader is and can provide all accurate info, you'll get listed in the official thread. ANYONE can get listed -- *coughs* -- as long as they have their facts for their guild straight.

I'm also looking for HUGE suggestions on how to improve the CGMG, so please post THOSE in this thread too. I'm looking at Argonnessen first because you guys never let me down. I'm open to anyone not from Argonnessen replying to this thread too (except maybe a certain permadeath complaint).

Finally, please go check out the ddo wiki if you haven't and get your guild listed there. Tolero did a lot of work and now that the tool is there to host your guild on the ddo wiki's informational pages as well, you guys should hit it up. It's a small tight community at DDO (as we've summarized in a few other threads this week), so get those guilds posted! Encourage your non-forum guildleaders to swing by for once and get this stuff posted too on the ddo wiki & CGMG (and your server's guildlistings, whichever server you consider home).

Praytell, which! We need more searches to bring this thread to light. But I don't think anyone should be using the DDO Search Engine to find pr0n, so I didn't include that. It would show up in a google search though!!!
