That's what it lists on the enhancement in game.
Whether it's accurate or not I can't say. I've got a cleric that has it. But I think the cool down is closer to five or ten minutes, but I haven't tested it.
I'm building up a paladin slowly but surely with a 24 point build for this enhancement.
Instead of pure paladin, I'd just go to level 6 and then 6 levels of ranger and the rest Fighter. Or just all Ranger for 10 levels of the free two handed weapon feats enhancements, and spells.
In concept a dual wielding khopesh ranger/paladin would rock the socks off of people. Everytime you can activate your bladesworn transformation
I'll go check and see if I can use potions with it on or not.

One minute boost with ten minute cool down.
You can still down repair potions to heal yourself. Repair spells are still unkown.
I haven't been able to test the damage but I see no reason why it wouldn't work as intended.
And you lose ALL casting for the one minute you're in the transformation state.

Overall not a bad trade off. But I'd like to see it last a bit longer, another minute would make it an awesome enhancement. Maybe bladesworn transformation 2 increases duration and another +2 to STR AC and damage?
While I'd love to see it last longer, 10minute reuse is much nicer then 20... that means in the average quest run I could use it 2 maybe 3 times. That seems decent enough to be counted upon.
I think the trick to making a good build would be to have a High AC, High Strength build.
I'm not very good at building for high AC....

Arcane Only and Not divine? Hmm, I never read it that way before. So a WF Cleric in Adamantine armor suffers no extra spell failure rate? If true, WOW. I really wish I'd realized that before. Thanks for the enlightenment.
As to a high Strength, high AC build, here is my first stab. I'm going to try again swapping Fighter and Paladin levels around a bit as this one only gets one extra lay on hands and I'd like more for healing, but it otherwise fits the bill I think.

yeah DIVINE spells have no ARCANE spell failure
and if you are making a build around bladesworn transformation, I fear you may end up disapointed.
EDIT seems we are talking about both pally and cleric... could be cool on a pally but on a cleric not worth it IMHO... (I have lvl 16 WF cleric)

I dont think that bladesworn and barkskin stack...granted one is an enhancement and the other is a natural armor bonus. In all other cases like this they have not stacked. Mind checking when you next log in to see.
Also I was wondering when someone would finally build a paladin that would take advantage of the monk WIS ac bonus to lessen the disadvantage of two-handed AC. Nice work.

Too bad this buff is totally useless.
+4 natural armor: useless with a ranger in the group
proficiency in weapons: useless on a paladin
BaB = level: useless on a paladin
Immunity to critics and sneaks: useless with heavy fort, and that's easy to get on a warforged really.
So basically, you trade off spellcasting and healing for +4 STR and +4 Dmg. Can't cast divine favor for a minute...
I don't know, i don't see how this weak action boost with a 10 minutes timer comes even close to be as good as Unyielding Sovereignty.

If barkskin doesn't add Vener your criticisms of the buff are likely accurate. DEVs why give us something useless? Is it?
As promised, build with 2 more levels of Paladin, otherwise fairly similar to previous build... I think I like this one much better.

Well you cant cast your own spells or recieve divine healing. LOH and repair still work. You should be getting to a point where your divine favor will last longer then the transformation as well so its more of an inconvenient partial rage.
I have long thought that the cool down on this ability needs to be like 5 min vs 10. Or they could just make it an exclusive warforged buff (tied to alignment) rather then one tied to the paladin class and give forged paladins something else.

Heh, so I stumbled upon this. I'm a fan of unconventional oddball builds, so if you want a good Bladesworn Transformation Toon I give you the basics for mine:
Noobitron 2 Barbarian / 13 Cleric / 1 Fighter - Chaotic Good
Adamantine Plating
Power Attack
Maximize
Extend
Improved Critical Slashing
Mental Toughness
Toughness
Much more fun than practical, yet surprisingly functional.
He uses greatswords to benefit from the +1 Lord of Blades Enhancement. Generally an Elemental Mastery Greensteel Greatsword (started as Tempered, to allow +10 concentration because of no quicken and to allow more freedom with item slots)
Wears Docent of Corpsecraft for the Devotion/Nullification.
Very very fun to play.
I hope you roll your own Bladesworn Toon -- It's pretty fun.
