Best Armor available?

A minor point...when comparing armors, you should not suggest to add a ritual in to make something comparable to a +5 mithral FP. You can add a ritual to a +5 mithr FP to effectively make it +6. As the ritual can be done on ALL of the armors, it should not be brought up in comparing. A +4 armor will always be 1 short of a +5 armor...

i know this is an old thread...

i just wanted to point out that you can do an "Add Eldritch for +1" to the Full Plate of the defender and get an extra point out of it as well.

sorry, but as a fighter I have to go with dragontouch. Good ac number, 3 slots, just awesome.
I put +4 insight, +6 con, and Greater false life.

Working on a +4 insight, +5 resistance, +6 charisma. ac ritual 1 for a 16 ac, max dex 1.

I know its an old thread, but I find heavy fort/prot is better for a shroud item.

That is 6+ slots items on two items
Heavy fort, prot 5
resist 5, +6 charisma, +4 insight
and on the belt I also put
greater acid, +20 hp, +2 cha skills.

I am surprised it to so long for Dragon touch armor to be mentioned.

I love my Plate of the defender and still wear it a lot of the time, but once I win the lottery and get my DT armor fixed the way I want it, that will be my main armor. I have +5 resist, working on +5 protect and a +3 dodge to finish it for AC.

Then I may make a second set with various guards for DPS/hate generation.

I have a minos legen helm so my heavy fort is covered.
