I was part of an epic shroud run on Saturday night. Ministry (of Legion) led. There was one caster, 2 clerics (one new to the Shroud), one rogue, one bard and all the rest various forms of tank.
Part 1 - a piece of cake.
Part 2 - was a bit of a struggle, but some quickly juggling of people and we got them down
Part 3 - the wall killed everyone but me (I was the cleric hanging out in the center) and one AFK still in part 2, and I was able to pull it back together and we moved on
Part 4 - generally a piece of cake
Part 5 started out very smooth, but about halfway through Harry's hitpoints, the lag monster hit hard, and all my healing went out of sync. People started dying, pools were drying up, we were digging through our packs for scrolls and mnemonics, Harry was on a rampage. 6 of us left, then 5, I got killed, 3 and then just two - a wizard (Surigam) and a ranger (Xethllo) [sp?] . At this point, Harry was down to a single pixel-width of health. And those two danced with him for 2-3 minutes (but it felt like a lot longer) before they finally pulled him down.
I'm sure it seems pretty droll in text, but it was incredible to be there - everyone worked as a team, helped each other out, bonded together to keep things going.
I wouldn't want every run to go like that, but for all the pain, it was one of the most enjoyable times I've had in DDO. I don't remember all the names ( I should have taken a screenshot), but I do want to give props to Ministry at least - great job leading and keeping everyone together.
