Looking for Abbot groups - any server

Title pretty much says it all. I am currently on Thelanis, but have no problem at all transferring my main to another server to join teams that are working on this quest.

I do not care if you think it is unbeatable or not worth the time. I like a challenge and to beat this properly as it is implemented is exactly that.

I know there are people out there who think similarly.

I'm definitely interested in trying it some more (I'm on Ghallanda), but I'm not going to devote 24/7 to it. 2/2 would be more like it.

There is a small guild who told me they were going to practice on Thursday nights....unfortunately, I am horrible with names and failed to put them in my friends list. Sry....hope you guys will still invite me sometime.

Isn't there around a month of delay for that transfer? Or some other painfully long time?

By then they will have released a new Abbot quest which is improved at (at least a little) easier.

I'm Thelanis as well, so if somebody can get me over that four quests in one thing, I'll GLADLY do a raid, even if "broken" for now.


PS, we could get our transfered characters on Risa and see how the "Fixed" raid works too.

The Ascension Chamber isn't that bad? How many completions do you have?

What he means to say is that the quest to get Abbot-flagged isn't bad.

And that's absolutely true. It is trivially easy compared to the Ascension Chamber. In fact, it's so much easier that anyone who acts like getting flagged is a detectable obstacle will never, ever come close to contributing to an Abbot raid (until they fix the raid).

Puzzle Completion Rate 95%... It's like rolling a d20.

Then again, working 40 hours/week, keeping up with a disabled wife and 3 year old, and making time for my bro being home from the NAVY
and establishing financial aid from non-collegiate institutions manually tends to take some time.

Actual Abbott Raid completions: 0.
Puzzle Completions: over 50.
I just can't get a good group and I am never on when the guild is anymore.

Sorry about the delay in responding everyone. I was unexpectedly sent out of town for work.

I am in the middle of moving right now and should be situated by Sunday. I'll post up on the Thelanis forums with some tiems so we can get people raid ready as soon as I can figure out how my weekend will be going.

i organize some abbot runs on wednesday nites on khyber. it's mostly a death company thing, but i'm meeting peeple all the time who want in. check the general forums at deathcompany.net, or zap shadai or bubbagump a tell for more planning info.

so far, we're mostly getting peeple's sigil completed, but we do get some nights were we just run the preraids. speaking of which, does anyone have any good strategies for doomsphere?
