New Zeal is coming, so, 2Rog/6Rgr/8Pal anyone? :)

That's the build in my sig...he's my favorite meleer. Runs around with a 36 str, mid 50s ac, 20s - 30s saves and dual wields 2 double supreme greensteel DAs.

So I just got my new character to 2rog/6rgr last weekend and am ready to start taking paladin levels. Once I hit ranger, I put all of my skill points into UMD, intimidate and haggle. From this point on, I will only be getting 2 skill points (10 intelligence) and am wondering what sort of intimidate I'm going to need for teh high level quests and raids. I ask this because I was planning on alternating UMD and intimidate at each level. If I do that, I will end up with about a 15 skill ranks in each (doing this from memory, may be off by one or two). With charisma bonuses of +6 and a nice intimidate item and GH, will be around high-forties and UMD in mid-twenties (which I would rather have higher).

With that in mind, the question I have is whether I can afford to put all my points into UMD, assuming that a high-forties intimidate will be enough.

You will not get zeal.. It has been changed to level 14 paladin, but you will get some other paladin goodies probably such as the undead hunter or demon hunter prestige enhancements coming in mod 9.

I saw that they had changed zeal from lvl 2 to lvl 4 spell and was not very happy. The character should still be fun and a very servicable intimi/evasion tank so it's not a huge deal, I guess!

Could someone let me know where I can read what exactly zeal is? I looked in the dev section but didn't see it right away.

yup my Zutt still has max ranks intim/umd can handle all traps/locks on elite (except Cabal one ?) and a 61 ac while twf.. not to mention all the other goodies
