New Zeal is coming, so, 2Rog/6Rgr/8Pal anyone? :)

Just heard that via DDOCast.

Paladins new self-buff, Zeal.

Boosts your attack speed which has unique bonus type. (Was it Insight bonus? Anyways.)

Stacks with EVERY type of attack speed boost.


Now, I can think of a new 2Rogue/6Ranger/8Paladin.

Haste Boost I + Tempest + Zeal.

Also with Evasion, Maxed Intimidate. (with Tempest AC + Paladin Aura AC)


I can see the potential, how about you?

I will be making this build for kicks since I've had 2 pallys now hehe and its my favorite class but I think ima go 2 monk instead of rogue for lesser air stance(lowbie levels only), evasion, 2 extra feats, and monk ac

Thinking of something like this

14 wisdom

Feats:

1. Dodge
2. Mobility
3. Weapon finesse
4. Spring attack
5. Ce
6. Improve crit
7. GTWF
8. Power attack

Probably go drow/elf for +2 damage with short swords or rapiers

dude why are you talking smack and why are you making it seem like you have copy rights to this build LOL im making it a dex build because it would be a different style and i personally don't think i would be bad build, i wont be using a shield because of the tempest anyway so i rather go dex build also i love ac builds i figured i get more ac with a dex build icy rainments, and wisdom ac bonus.Same way twerpp made his rogue/tempest but he doesnt care if ppl make similar builds. who knows if its better it might or might not be than a str build but i guess i'll find out for myself. Stop drinking all that hater raid dude not trying to get cause any conflict between us.

Why dex? Umm... I was fooling with a version of this that, being a dex build, would hit 58 AC self-buffed BEFORE any named raid loot or icy raiments. At least for me, that would be why dex.

It all depends on your choices.

You want more feats, AC, saves? Try DEX/WIS Monk splash instead of Rogue.

You want more DPS, UMD, Intimidate? Maybe some trap skills? Stick with Rogue

Doesn't work while not centered, like while wearing armor? I thought since i tried puttin my monk in armor and still got the wis ac bonus a bit ago, that it would still be true. Been working on the 8 Pally/ 6 Rgr/ 2 Mnk, got it to 1 Pally/ 1 Rgr/ 2 Mnk, just realized that im not gettin the wis ac bonus in the +3 mith BP? Anyone know about this?

Centered is not important in WIS AC. Rather, centered is important for monk stances, Ki usage.

You only lose your WIS AC when you're wearing/wielding armors/sheilds.
That's why DEX-build is ideal for monk-splash.

But in my other thread (Tempest Zealot), someone suggested to go with high-STR/mid-DEX/mid-WIS monk splash, basically a STR build who wears an outfit. That seems like a pretty good idea too. You maintain your DPS, while still getting bonus from WIS, makes sense.
