My original Ginseng is a WF 15 Sorcerer / 1 Barbarian for fast zerging.
This build focuses more on survivability.
WF sorcerers are already one of the best self-sufficiant, and I wanted to make it even better while minimizing the penalty.
14 Sorcerer / 2 monk
Warforged, Lawful Neutral
STR 8
DEX 14 ->22
CON 12 ->22~24 (Rage gives +2 CON but also gives -2 AC penalty, so it depends on situation)
INT 13 +1Tome at Level1
WIS 12 ->20
CHA 15 +4LevelUps ->32~34 (Depends on your Green Steel Weapon setting)
I suggest you to make your green steel kama with +1CHA, +4AC.
So if you can find a Sup.Potency Kama then you can use Monk stances to boost your AC/Save by 1, or some more HP.
Feats:
- General: Empower, Maximize, Quicken, Heighten, Extend, Enlarge
- Monk: Lightning Reflex, then choose another among Deflect Arrows, Toughness, Dodge
(If you feel like you have good enough defence, you can have fun with dual-vorp kamas with Weapon Finesse, Precision, TWF)
Skills: Concentration, UMD, Jump(x2), Balance (Raise Balance on Monk levels)
Maxed Saves: (without Rage for maxed AC also)
Base 7/7/12 + Feat 0/2/0 + Stat 6/6/5 + (Resist5, ReaverTrinket, Alchemical) 8/8/8 + (GH, Haste) 4/5/4
= Self-buffed 25/28/29 + Evasion,
30/33/34 with Paladin
Maxed AC:
10 Base + 2 Warforged + 1 Monk + 6 DEX + 5 WIS + 6 Alchemical Docent (Does it work? +_+)
+ 2 Chaosgarde + 3 Chattering Ring + 5 Protection Item + 4 Green Steel Weapon
+ 4 Shield Spell + 1 Haste + 3 Barkskin Potion
= Self-buffed 52 with 2 weapons in hands,
65 with Paladin/Ranger/Cleric/Bard.
Overall, really excels in survivability, also perfect for PvP (if anyone cares)
I think it's kinda overkill in quests, but oh well, my control sucks so it might be helpful
You can tank if you want, (I mean when there's no real tanks in the grp) since you got
1. Not bad AC, Saves, and Evasion.
2. Ability to cast Quickened Reconstruct, Stoneskin, Displacement.
3. Ability to DPS hard enough through Spells to maintain agro.
4. Ability to use the Docent of Defiance! lol
What you lose compared to 16 WF Sorcerer:
1. Couple hundred SP (But obviously less SP to cast Reconstruct due to Evasion/Saves/AC)
2. Final Level Spell (Resolved when level cap goes up to 20, not much 8th spells to use at the moment anyways)
3. Couple lower level spell slots (This is the major penalty that I can think of)
4. -1 to Heightened spell DC (linked with #2, resolved at level 20)
Wise sorcerer never runs outta SP, so I hope this build will do just fine in their hands.
It just came to my mind like 30 minutes ago, so it might contain some flaws.
Hope you guys can help me by some wise comments
P.S. I think you can make a similar build using Halfling, with Healing Dragonmarks.
You might be short on feats, prolly have to give up 3 metamagics: Enlarge, Quicken, and something else,
but you'll end up with +7AC, +4~7 Reflex Save, +1 Spell DC, etc.
