Default +5 Mithril Twilight Full Plate of Lesser False Life

This is rr Elf/Drow umd 24 lvl 14 req.
    15% Arcane Spell Failure

This item is probably for trade. What can I expect for it?

I'm hoping for +2 tomes and large ingredients.

I know it is very valuable but I'm not sure exactly how valuable (i.e. wop rapier value).

    Thanks

Just to set your expectations - it's not going to be THAT valuable.

+5 mith FP isn't common; but most power gamers have come across multiple sets. The twilight and lesser false life will probably only degrade the value; since they raise the min level; but are of almost not gain for most builds.

Are you thinking clearly? Twilight on mith fp will bring the value down?!

Really? I think that there is going to be a nice niched melee sorc or wiz who wants it. Combined with a mithril twilight shield, the elf armoured arcane enhancements and the seven fingered gloves you have quite the ac boost.

Yeah.. I'm a little suspicious that that last comment was done in malice to try to shortchange me.

Maybe I'm just overestimating the end spell failure (don't know it exactly and too lazy to go check this close to bar time) - but I don't see piles of casters wearing FP either.

No there is no malice man - you can believe me or not - but neither myself nor anyone I play with would have any use for the additional twilight on the item. Let me know if you do get an armload for it - I would be curious.

It should have about a 15% spell failure, combined with the elven enhancements, and the gloves it would be a nice battle caster item.

    Default Value

Straight +5 MFP will be the most valuable. Things like Spearblock, Axeblock, and Hammerblock are very nice add'er. However, I would have to agree that anything else is just raising the ML.

From my past deals, I would say you could get about 2-3 larges for it. (I have traded through about 4 suits of +5 MFP).

Twilight, Blueshine, Spearblock, Axeblock and Hammerblock (and maybe, just maybe Command) are the list of all enhancements that boost the value of +5 MFP. And Twilight is one of the rarest of them to find.

It's a minority of casters that will have a use for this item, but just like +8AC Armor bracers - not many toons want them, but they are incredibly rare and are quite simply better in every way than the alternatives.

(Lesser False Life serves no purpose save upping the ML, and more importantly the UMD difficulty - that is a very, very minor drawback to this item)

Had you pulled a similar item in the Mod 4 days, back when arcane casters soloing the Reaver was common, someone probably would have given you their first born child for it. It's now more niche as armored casters are less common, and the Seven-Fingered Gloves are harder to find, but still it is an awesome pull.

Were I to have a use for it (and were I on your server), I'd offer something like a Kardin's Eye plus a normal +5 MFP for it
    I don't have a zerging problem.

    I'm zerging. That's YOUR problem.

Number one question....is it hot looking??? Often this is the deal breaker with an armour item lol. It should fetch alot from top tier armoured casters who have no use for all that swag filling up the bank. Be patient....put it up for bid and see what comes your way. If its not enough wait till next mod when traffic will be better and pockets deeper.

This is one of the more important questions. I know a few armored mages and they are looking for specific looks in their armor to fullfill the eldrich caster type of look.

I am curious about this as well. I sold a set of +4 twilight mith FP, no suffix, on the auction house about 6 weeks ago and it went for 600k PP. 400 for me. Regular FP was arond the same at the time. The new named mith fps (VOD, Cursed) is dropping the value of regular mith fp like a ton of bricks. I do not think the value for this item has changed nearly as bad as regular mith fp, due to the fact there has not been a named set of twilight. I do a lot of trading and like to think I know the economy well on ghallanda, that said I am not sure the value.

If a lot of casters were battle casters it would be HUGE (2mill plat). Instead it is more a niche thing. Since the demand for the item will be low because of the few amount of battle casters I wold value you it around 300-500k PP based more on rarity than high demand.

The Icy Rainments have driving the value of these WAY up. These may be one of the most saught after tradable items right now. Every ranger, monk, rogue, or dex build will love the rainments and along with them the +8 armor.

That's because there are not piles of +5 twilight mithral armor A lot of elf and drow casters could get an occasionally-useful armor class if they had this armor along with +5 shield, and the other typical-tank gear.

I think its a very nice suit of armor with very nice stats. I think it would be a nice item to design a high level caster around. Save your plane jane +5 mithril for your fighters at 8th level. You wont be level 8 forever.

You can take my opinion with a grain of salt, but, honestly, it's not that useful. Casters are better off with the blue dragon robe (which most have) than wearing this. Getting a "decent" armor class (mid 40's) isn't even worth the investment into this plate, because on everything except favor quests most mobs will hit you 95% of the time. Granted, mobs in the vale have low to-hit values, but if you're dying out there it's not because your armor class is low. My 2 cents.

That armor is hot. Something to design a character around even. Very cool.
