It's pretty simple: nothing
These runes were introduced with Module 7 for the race to unlock the new raid area. Each raid in the game except the Abbot had special runes in their last chest, and you needed to collect a certain number of every runes to open the new raid area: The Subterran. Now that it's opened, the runes are just there for flavor, they didn't wanted to bring the game down for such a minor thing, I guess they will be removed in the 7.1 patch coming up.Guild I'm one of a kind, Khyber

Seems like they could have been removed 7.01,, but what do I know.. They weren't
