How Much Can I Really Get For My W of P's?

Hi, I am looking to delete my ranger to cut playtime down to just my main. I love it but ya know, life and all. I have a +1 W of P Rapier with a couple ticks perm dmg, and a short sword. I am looking to really get the best value out of these. Not interested in normal loot like para vorpal tomes you get the idea.

Read the other posts. There have been some pretty amazing offers going for WoPs. I believe the last "auction" was for a dagger and that went for 10 large devil scales. You pretty much have a rare commodity that you can trade for whatever your main character needs.

I've seen a couple of WoP rapiers fetch entire trade threads. And good trade threads too... hehe, pretty much a name your price type thing at this point i think.

Silly question, but if your secondary character is equip'd with w/p rapier *and* sh sword -- the 2 most uber weapons in the game -- then what the heck could your main character possibly need?

the w/p rapier sells for everything you can think of and some stuff you can't. Just take a look at other w/p rapiers that have sold in the last month. you could, if you wanted to, outfit all the other toons on your account from selling just that one item.

IMO, a fair price for the shortsword is a little under a full set of 24 large ingredients for one of the popular dual-shard upgrades.

For the Rapier, 2-3 times that much. 60 larges, in a good mixture; or a set of 24 plus a Litany tome set, a Boots of the Innocent, a Bloodstone and a set of 6 +2 tomes would both be fair trades IMO.

Frankly, I think you can write your own ticket with the people looking for a w.o.p. rapier. Good luck with the sale/trade.(although I don't think you'll need luck )

I was thinking just to a cleric to keep helping friends every once in a while ya know..but actually, possibly might just quit. I may end up giving to a guildie or something I guess, lotterry lol? sorry guys didnt log on in a couple dayst and now its totaally full of pms lol.
