Call To The Filmakers And Those That Care

Hey, just read the new news regarding Assio and while I have had my run ins with various members of the Neo's, Assio has ALWAYS been one that I could count on to not take things personally. All the drama and bs aside my idea is, can we get a filmmaker and all the people that would like to support him and make some kind of film for him, then post on youtube so he can see how much we as a community do miss/wish him and his family the best? Im thinking something like an online get-well card, but I will leave the specifics up to the professionals. Anyway...if anyone will take up this cause PLEASE let me know so I can add my voice to his getting well...

Im a Soldier so I can understand what and maybe why he did what he did. What I dont understand is why people like him, try to save people like you...get off your *** and show the man some love!

as 99% of it will just be people well wishing...its only gonna take a couple of people to post it for the man.

probably the best way to get something going is to just do it. set a date.. post it... put it on your bio... and then just do it. contact a couple guild leaders from the larger guilds to ensure a decent group to start with. i'm sure Assio's guilds will be all over it and once people see something happening the group will grow.

as for filming it... doesn't take much. i can try to clear out some space to do some filming but am thinking someone who knows him better would be able to compile it best. something as simple as knowing his music preferences could make a big difference to himi when he is watching the finished project.

Wanted to respond to this yesterday but damned storms knocked out my power so couldnt do much of anything. After realizing who Assio is (cant believe I didnt realize im stupid) If you need more people im sure I can talk to some of my guild tonight when I get on. A lot of them dont read the forums anymore or not at all so ya got to factor that in to. But we all know Assio though I knew him as his alt in game lol. Im definately on board with this though im not much of a video taker ive got fraps but havent really figured out how to use it yet. So let me know if this is going on gonna mention it to the guys tonight no matter what.

When I first read the title, I thought you meant people who cared about making films. Since I wasn't interested in that, I skipped right over it. I happened to glance at it today and decided to check it out for curiosity's sake more than anything else. I do think it is a good idea, but you might want to start up a new thread with a more descriptive title.

There will be much fanfare and happiness surrounding his return to Stormreach. There will be ample opportunity for everyone to show their support. In lieu of flowers, you can send plat, uber weapons and mana pots

woah I want to try to defuse this before it becomes something this thread dont need. Tat was just making a call to those who do know Assio which if you play on Sarlona even if you never ran with him you would know of his group the only official guild that helps new players completely The Lowriders. He is a good man that got into a bad situation helping others unselfishly. Now by the title of this thread and the fact that some of us came late we didnt know Tat's intentions. Im guessing he was upset because someone who has repeatedly shown care for others seemed to be snubbed since no one responded to his request. He can be passionate about things but there is no reason to turn this thread into a flame over a statement he made because of emotions. I think what he wants to do is honorable and if you dont know the guy and want no parts fine but please dont come in stirring stuff up (dunno if that was your intent or not) I would like to see this thread get positive attention and see that Assio gets a tribute of some kind.
