    Nice job guys. Every time we get close to a 1 rounder, we get smacked by the lag monster and Harry ends up at like 2%.

    Is it just me or the lag in part 4 is just... INSANE! lately?

    We've had a times where it was a close call and almost wipe due to lag. Thankfuly we had enough range firepower and UMD'er to finish the fight, but it's happenning very frequently lately. I'd say that part 4 of the Shroud is the laggiest place in the game right now, after the Devil citadel on the way to Vision.

    While 4 is bad, I have noticed that part 1 is now the worst for me. I NEVER had an issue with it until about 5-6 weeks ago. Now, I just try to follow the group or go where I think they may be.


    Back to the topic at hand, it was a great group and we should do a speed run next. No afks, all zone in together. Maybe this time, Healemup will believe you when its mentioned that he shouldn't have to recall before part 1 to refill SP.

    I thought it was funny when he mentioned that he finally had to heal someone halfway through 1.

    Ok I see what you mean by 1 round. I am an old school PnP guy and a round either means 1 min or one set of actions. 6 seconds in later versions. Basically a round is one attack chain thats why I was so excited when I read your post.

    Yup - normally, when I'm on my cleric, the only person I have to heal in part 1 is myself, and that's only because I dual wield vicious of greater construct banes...

    Oh, it's not just you. The lag in part 4 and on the way to VoD is just nuts. I can't figure out why, either. On the way to VoD I think it's all the teleporting devils, but those aren't in part 4 while fighting Harry.

    It's just absurd, really.

    I kept telling my guildies... "Wow! One round part 4." Excellent job, although I am not sure how we did it without at least one of my blade barriers... :-) Good thing he died, I was on my last cast of mana when he toasted. I even saw the text that he was teleporting away right before the message that he was dead.

    Yeah, on the way to Vision... clearly the devils. But like you said, there is nothing explaining why there's so much lag in Shroud part 4.

    The lag was atrocious in that part, as said above. Two people died and were teleported to the holding area with half their bar full on many screens.

    I think the problem with part 4 is the sheer amount of DPS. You have LOTS of swingings and spells going off every second and my guess is the client can't handle all that information at once. The way to VoD though I have no idea why that gets so laggy...

    It's the AI engine trying to work out the agro on the devils and teleport them to/from the right people. It only started happening after the patch that fixed Harry, which was mainly back-end Kynapse changes.

    The trick is not to fall off and agro any, and kill any you pass on the way

    I dont think 1 round is possible without a bard I might be wrong , but doubt it. Nice work. At least you have proof now and just not speculation. AKA we killed harry before the haste ran out.
