they make good portal beaters and the portals have low ac therefore even a cleric w/ 10 strrength could use it to beat the portals and actually do damage

5k pp - 10k pp. It's a an ok weapon but only good for portal beating. Seeker improves your crit chance but since most constructs are imune to crits it wont help.

If this is for portal beating -- which I assume most are -- then why do so many people go for +1 or +2 GCBs when if you're patient you can get an Inusrrection axe as cheap or cheaper? Folk seem not to understand that a +5 bane hits better and does more damage than a +1 greater bane, and nearly the same as a +2 (same hit, only .5 avg dam less: big whoop). So +3 and higher GCBs should be worth more, but 1-2s not so much. And if for portals where non-prof doesn't matter, why not use a greataxe?

My cleric and rogues both have used Insurrection for the portals. And while you often see them listed for 50K+, I've purchased 3 between 10-20K, which is why I offer that as a reasonable value. So 25 for a b-sw? Maybe the conveniece of this buy is worth a little extra for you, but you could do better if you were bargain hunting.

this leaves the offhand for another GCB or a true chaos/law of pure good, or whatever, Two GCB will out do an insurrection anyday, and since it only takes a 2 to hit the portal not having twf doesn't matter either, wich in turn will nearly double the output of 1 insurrection with the exception of a two-handed fighter/barb with all the feats, where the glancing blows make up for it
