    Default Feed back on 14Wiz/2Rogue

Looking to make a WF Wizard/Rogue with decent Stealth/Lockpicking and Disable and good end game casting of CC/Buffing/Debuffing and some Instadeath. Might be trying to do to much with this toon but I figure with some decent gear it might be workable. I would appreciate any construtive criticism anyone can offer.

Well no ones posted any replys to this build yet. I've seen some complaining about the use of Ron's char planer in asking questions about builds and the way it displays the information. I basicly what to know if the end stats for OL,DD and the stealth will be usefull or not with decent gear "say +10 to +15 for OL and DD and +5 tools",I know I won't be able to do things like cabal elite, and things like greater silent moves and greater shadow or maybe the boots from the DQ.I've never made a rouge before so I'm not sure about what numbers need to be obtained for most end game content. I also want to know if the spell pen feats and enhancements will make up some for the lack of 2 wizard levels.

Grab Pen and Paper (or Keyboard and Wordpad) and spend some time over here:

Also, I like this for figuring out stats/skills without going through a more intricate character planner:

I am making the same thing, but my starting stats are more into Wis (spot), Cha (UMD), Dex (tumble, wpn finesse), Int (Mana, open lock, disable device (I think those use int, at work atm)). Geared more for rogueing, but will definitely be a decent caster as well. I think it would be awesome to do the Crucible swim and schwack the gnolls to get key and horn lmao. Too much fun hehe

Just got into the wavecrest last night, trying to figure out if I want to keep him or not lol (yes already), have to see how he pans out.

No schwacking needed, just a simple mass suggest, invis then saunter in a pick the horn up. Likily none of the Gnolls will even notice you.

Imo this is one of the most fun builds to play. Recently deleted mine(was wiz12/rog3) and am regretting it(stupid slot cap)... might have to remake him I think.

    To OP:
One thing I might suggest is to spread out when you take your rogue levels a little. It will allow you to better use the 8+ skill points the rogue class gives at level up. Evasion isnt really a must until a little later anyway. Note; still take it at 1st though for obvious reasons.

Your can start with a 8 Wisdom to be honest. Being WF your immune to hold person anyhow. Your -1 to Will saves will be compensated by your Wizard Will saves, it's thier primary. Just a thought.

Ive done this build now with wf/elf/halfling. The elven and halfling versions are still in play and level 14/2 both. I would suggest looking hard at the halfing race with teh full compliment of dragon marks. You get 9 feats on a 14/2 and can take the 3 marks, empower, max, extend, heighten/quicken/enlarge, and pene 1 and 2 still. You will be able to heal aboue 3500 pts of damage with your 21 dm's to yourself and everyone else between shrines, and not use a drop of mana doing so. No reconstruct scroll usage, or mana waste........which I like on a split class wis, your not a 2200 sp sorc with mana to burn. Just a suggestion........the best of the 3 races that I have run to cap from my perspective.
Varr's all over. Cannith Varr getting the love currently.

Guess he figured I can repair myself, screw all of yous'. UMD does round the build out very nicely imo too. Part of the reason I went 3 levels of rogue.

Ya, that would be my question. Why tumble over UMD? Although UMD for a warforged wiz is kind of like "what for?" Raise dead? Get yourself a Ring of the Ancestors. Cure scrolls? Who cares? I'm a warforged.

Well my Char is a base 6 so i really don't think I could get my Umd high enough to be usefull, also I am looking to try and be able to DD,OL,Hide and Move silently and be a capable caster at end game so I really don't have the points to spare for it. The main thing I was looking for feed back on was if I was trying to do to many things, will I have enough points in my rouge abilitys to be usefull at end game or should I pick either steath focus or trapmonkey focus with only two lvls or rogue.

Good equipment and knowing how to buff up your skills can go along way with rogue skills.

    +11 - +15 items for example.
    GH
    Prayer clickie or gygax trinket.
    Int/Wiz/Dex items.
    +5 tools

Should allow you to be a decent trap monkey.
