My character name is Weeping Darkmoon and I was in the group. We was doing the Let Sleeping Dust Lie, a quest that we can't kill more than 5 spiders...

We did beautifully until we get in the final room. I was excitied that it is final room and for some reason I start using manyshot and blasting away at everything (even spiders). Unnecessary to say, I killed 4 spiders and failed the quest. It was a moment of stupidity and I hope everyone in my group forgives my moment of stupidity.

Lol, I'm sure they forgive you dude. Everyone's shot Velah with a heavy repeater on auto-attack, or kill the Venerated with a fireball at some stage. I assume this was the first or second time you'd done the quest? Not the 18th time?

Weeping just annihilated the last four...I mean he just tore those badboys UP! Seriously, they dropped in like 30 seconds.

I was party leader, well, I created the group and I left when we failed because it was close to wife-gettin-home time...much sadness ensues when she gets home from work and Im playing DDO.

This is the very reason I have Spider Slayer branded in all my character's bios. I invariably kill one spider everytime I am in there no matter how careful I try to be.

On a tread hyjake note.
One of my favorite spider kills was a run with a PuG where the Wiz was show boating with PK/FoD right when I hit the hot key for Quivering Palm on a now dead Ogre with a spider right behind it.

This is absolutely true. I stopped running this quest with Rams because of it. I think its stems from a deeper autoerotic, arachnophobic childhood experience.

It happens and it is not a terrible quest to re-run it is not like you did something to fail coalescence chamber. On a somewhat related note there are three possible end chests completing, kill all ogres and kill no spiders. Does this include not killing any spiders before the not goes up in your quest box or just after I was never really sure about that point.
