I find it very cathartic to kill every spider as soon as the last piece of loot has been pulled from all 3 chests. It somehow makes me feel better about restraining myself for the previous 20 minutes...is this wrong???

It happens and it is not a terrible quest to re-run it is not like you did something to fail coalescence chamber. On a somewhat related note there are three possible end chests completing, kill all ogres and kill no spiders. Does this include not killing any spiders before the not goes up in your quest box or just after I was never really sure about that point.

The "kill no spiders" chest will disappear after a spider dies. If you have already looted it and it disapears, who cares. What I nomrally do is get the books as fast as possible, killing all the ogres along the way. If we get the 2 book fast, just kill the end boss and get 2 chests. If we take a while to find the book, then get the 2 chests and leave on party member in the chest room. Kill and Maim everything until the thrid chest for the ogres appears. IMO, it is not worth clearing 4-5 halls of ogres if you find the book in the first 2 paths.

I never kill extra ogres until the quest is complete and the spider chest is looted.

A couple of days ago, I was standing in the buffing area of the Reaver, just waiting for everyone to get in.

I started switching through my weapons, eventually landing on my Dwarven Thrower.

I touch "attack" once and notice a roll came up. Huh? So I did it again, this time the roll came up and was successful. The Stormreaver then activated and started trying to kill us through the blue barrier.

I didn't have the Reaver selected... heck, I couldn't even see him on my screen!
