Ore of travail for trade

hello everyone,
I am thinking about trading an ore of travail for some stuff I would like, so I guess make me an offer I can't refuse..
One thing I am looking for is a +2 int tome, but I know I want more than just the tome for the ore. Other stuff would be +2dx tome +1char tome, +1 wis, +1 con tome, interesting rapiers, short swords, or bows, tap pieces.

a +2 tome is asking too much.

You can buy the two rare vale ingredients involved in its creation for about 1/5 of what you'd pay for the tome. Or you can go run two vale quests and hit the named mobs on your way to them in less than an hour. Unbound +2 tomes are really not all that common. I play alot and i've pulled two, total. During that time i've made at least 6 greensteel weapons (all of which have an ore in them) and 2 greensteel accessories.

You might get somebody to trade you if you used that ore to make a green steel rapier or great/dwarven axe.

Ahh... oh well, I figured since it was funk, pebble and twig which I thought were all sort of rare that I might get some nibbles as people seem to be willing to trade +2 tomes for large ingredients but I guess those are harder to come by. thanks for the info.

Sure thing bro, i dislike telling people that their trade is unrealistic, but i'd rather see you up the ante a bit and get what you want than let the trade die.
