I agree, although very few of my real issues have anything to do with Muppets. Most of them stem from a hard life of women and wine, waking up in a stranger's trash can and a general odor that I have yet to identify.

Talking Just ask, I'll hook you up or anyone else for that matter

Guilds in DDO don't recruit much. It constantly amazes me that I have got to the levels I have on several toons and never been asked to join a guild. Not even once (and no, I'm not a terrible player-- I screw up sometimes, but I've received more then a few compliments on my attitude / playing during those same months).

That's o'kay. PUGing works just fine and I don't get hauled off to do things I'd rather not (at least not very often).
Personally speaking, I'm not a fan of blind guild-vites. I'm an officer in two and I tend to wait until I'm asked to invite people. Send me a tell if you see me on...I'll hook you up

Thelanis: Sanctuary is a small guild that needs some life, many of us have toons in other guilds and we're very laid back.
Short Bus Fight Club is very new and needs people. The Founder likes to promote officer's, if that's you're thing

Argo: Storm Shadow is a huge guild, but the only rule is you have to be an adult(although acting like a child is OK )

Ok, well, gotta add a few things:
    1) I always thought Muppets were kinda cool. Beaker > all.
    2) RR was having a bad night. No offense, but I've personally never met a guild that hasn't had players with bad nights. If you don't want to group with him because of the experience, that's your choice.
    3) If you choose not to group with Mror Hold for the reasons given earlier in the thread or whatever reason, that's also your choice.

Bringing it to the forums, however, is poor form and unneccessary. Personally, I had a good deal of respect for several of the people who had posted in this thread. However, after such actions I cannot help but see this as an invitation to make note of all instances of players in your own guilds who, on occassion, exhibit less than desireable behavior.
Fortunately for those of you involved I have the respect and common decency that I won't post it on the public forums, but will instead make sure you all know of it in more private venues.

That said, a few words to all those PuGs out there:
At least you don't have to put up with this guild politics ****.

PS: On the matter of guild politics, Mror stays out of it. Do what you want, think what you want of our guild, whatever, we're here to have fun in a game we enjoy.
I, however, am slightly less tolerant than the majority of my guild... You have issues with my guild or it's members? Fine with me. But when someone starts trash-talking my guild or its members...
    I don't get mad. I don't get defensive. I get even.
Mror Hold, 2nd in command - Thelanis
Why am I a disgruntled vet? I could care less about nerfs, if the rest of the update worked.
I hate epic, GSF !="generalist wizard", and my raid loot luck still *'in sucks.

I've added more detail to my original post on page 2. Not an issue of a bad night but griefing the rest of the party. Goodluck with your quest for vengeance.

We have a good rep of being the filler member in a Guild only party, just not Merc's Only.

Just a bunch of us being guildless without being guildless. WE have some rules, mostly be flexible and be prepared to handle PuGs, and we help each other out finacially/items/etc. But with the differnent time zones and real Life, the chance to party together is slim to none.
    Fair enough. And kind cool.

Thanks, I know not everyone's cup of tea, but it is fun in it's own way. We tried to get everyone together for a shroud run, but nobody showed. Thus the end of our Guild runs in one fell swoop.

We love to play the game. That's all. Guild politics don't exist and everyone who's been active for the last three months is an officer. A Guild of Guildless, I suppose.

    Now THAT'S funny!

Note to Jrp: Does that 1 mil plat offer stand for anyone? I have at least a 20% chance of having that screen shot you're lookin' for!

No, that is not the reason. I believe Muppet in in Britain is slang for an idiot. Or close enough. THere is alot of difference between not knowing the quest and a level 16 having no idea how to play your toon, let alone play the quest. I died twice the first time I was in the Underground. Nobody got mad when I got lost. However, i didn't blunder my way and drag mobs back to the party. I told them where I was the best I could and they can and got me. THat's the difference between being a Muppet and inexperianced.

One has to judge a person by their actions, and actions often speak louder than words. If I was in the group with said person, I would /ignore add too. Though I wouldn't blame the guild for it, but I would be very keen on said player's alts!

Lol. You might not be alone there DWF. Send out 30 invites, expect to get 10 show up.
