Question Quick question on Monks and toughness.

Can some one please explain the decision to not give monks a toughness line? They are teh only class that can take Toughness as a bonus feat. So, why do they not get an enhancment line for it?

Good point, and that would be a nice addition for my monk.

Yes. It also increases your Concentration.

This^, in so many words, is how you say time and feedback on Lamannia are wasted.

Shrug, for the same reason they also don't get intimidate as a class skill? See, the devs wanted to help palis out to not be at the bottom of the barrel, and they succeeded! =)

Devs: Thanks for making Druids available to VIPs without the pack. This more than anything, has made me want to buy the pack.

Way of Tortoise only gives 5 hp per level for a sad diminishing return, compaired to the usuall thoughness line.
For a total of 20 HP, there are stronger ways to go for the cost for sure.

Indeed Way of the Tortoise enhancements don't stack with each other so it's just 20 HP.

Toughness enhancements have been given to classes that get 10 or more hit points per level.

    Monks get 8.

As much as I'd like to see monks get a toughness enhancement, it does make sence that only D10+ classes get this.

And as pointed out, what monks get get only grants a total of +20 HP at the fourth tier.

And really, +20 vs. +50 is a decent compromise if you ask me.

Not as many as a d10+ class gets, but still more than people who don't have Toughness as a bonus feat.
