    Default 1 level of cleric (need advice!)

    So I've reached level 15 on my monk, soon to be 16 after a few more Shroud runs. I'm seriously considering taking one level of cleric. Why?

    Advantages:
    * Cure light wounds spell (see below)
    * Use of wands (prot/resist/cure)
    * 2nd spell - Nightshield maybe for MM protection (haven't decided which I'd take)
    * Cleric Concentration I enhancement

    Disadvantages:
    * No adamantine DR fists
    * -1 to Reflex Save
    * -1 to attack (could offset with 1 minute divine favor if necessary)
    * -2 to handwrap dmg (2d6 fists instead of 2d8)
    * I'd miss out on perfect self at level 20
    * I'd have to suffer the annoying double-yellow ki/sp bar in a group.

    I wear a superior potency ring already (for the healing Ki), and I have all the human/monk healing enhancements, so I calculated a cure light wounds would be on average around 19 HP. My wis is 30 which means I would have 230sp and I'm making a +EE/-OE cloak for the +6 wis,+150 sp, giving total of 380 sp.

    Am I missing anything? Need advice!

    Well since youre 15th I would proably stick pure monk, the wands you would gain you can replace with potions and cure light well that might just be a quick little boost at your level it wont help much. I think you would be losing more then you gain by splashing. You made it this far go all the way now I pretty sure you would be happier.
