As of now when u type /afk the only way for others to notice that ur afk is if they send u a tell. Maybe when u type /afk a symbol could apear next to ur name in the party list. Yeah it's not needed, but useful.

Everyone I've grouped with has used the 'lfh' (looking for ham) emote as an indication of being afk. I'm pretty sure it's universally known as the afk emote.

seriously tho, good idea. i've been playin since it came out and had no idea the ham thing meant afk. i usually left my toon dancing.

Ya not once since the game came out have I seen this used on Aundair/Khyber. Weird--is it really a universal afk emote on all the other servers? Or just Thelanis? Or what?

ive seen it used frequently on ghallanda. maybe people are just doin it when yer not around, or you have seen them, and didnt know they were lfh, i mean afk.

Yep, used quite frequently on Ghallanda. Very handy little tool when you're in group or close by. But an icon in the Who List would be great for those people not in your area. Just put a little Ham by their name.
