    Default Wireless issue with DDO

Well this is my first post, and its a troubling one.

I live in a small apartment complex, and my neighbor happens to be nice enough to let me use his wireless connection.

Normally, the connection stays on perfectly, but when i play DDO it will randomly disconnect from the network.

I have it set up to automatically connect, but Wireless Zero doesn't reconnect very quickly, so i usually end up having to leave it open and alt tab out to reconnect it. Its very annoying and sometimes doesn't even work. Sometime I can play for a long time without having to reconnect, but this is very rare.

Is there anything I could do to fix this?

There is probably not much you can do since you are piggybacking on someone else connection. If you do not have internet at all, it may be time to get a basic setup with your cable provider. If you do have internet, but just not wireless, you can get a wireless router pretty cheap nowadays, or just hard line your computer to your router.

Your neighbor could be maxing out the bandwidth, interrupting your connection. If he is uploading/downloading a lot, it could affect your connection.

Yes this is all true, I know, I'm just trying to avoid paying a hundred bucks to get my internet back as I just pain do not have the money but still want to play DDO really bad.

Is there any wireless connection utility thats just amazing and can at least reconnect faster than Wireless Zero?

I use wireless networking in my house w/ DDO (all my computers actually) and it works fine. Nothing with DDO and wireless that I can tell...so it is likely something with the connection itself, either your card or possibly the signal strength.
