    Talking ideas for monk love

    it is true becouse we have tweaked this game and becouse devs build the game around us tweaked players the monks are not up to snuff when it comes to hanging for the most part they cant hang but enstead of crying over this lets bring ideas so the devs know what to do to help correct this oversight i give three ideas myself good or bad it what i would like to see.
    1. a improved crit modifer line like you see for barb rage( do to the monk study into hand to hand arts his attack do more damage or somthing like that)
    2. turn on special attacks yes what i mean if you have the kie you turn on a specail attack and the kie get used everytime you attack regardless if you hit or not when the attack is turned on.
    3. change the crit modifer for the handwraps
    if anyone has better idea please post them here or have fun flaming me

    1. I like it. It really makes good sense. However, it should apply to "centered" weapons only (Staff, Kama, Shuriken, Handwraps)
    2. It would be hard to do combo attacks requiring different elements (Fire-Pos-Fire for example).
    3. Not sure handwraps make sense having a higher crit mod than x2. But again, an Enhancement line for "centered" weapons to increase the crit mod to x3 and maybe x4 would be cool.

    1- Given that Developpers already plainly stated that the Critical Rage enhancement for barbarian's where unbalanced and overpowered and that a portion of the community have been constantly complaining about it, i'd say there's not much chance of this ever happening - although I personnaly like it.

    2- As mentionned by the above poster, this would make special chains of mixed energy difficult to achive. I would personnaly like it better if the attack didn't have a cooldown or short enough of a cooldown that you could attack at the same speed as you normally would by chaining ki strikes.

    3- Not sure, but it would help DPS a bit for a monk to do that, I don't think that a x3 or x4 crit multiplier would help much but it wouldn't unbalance the game by doing so either.

    1. THe only problem with this is that the line would become a must have for every monk. It should only be usable while centered if it was implemented though... Actually instead of an enhancement (and given the nature of the FoB implementation) maybe make it so this is part of the Greater Flurry ability at level 11. Have it grant bonus Crit Range with special Monk weapons... ie while Centered

    2. modify this to setting up chains instead I think... ie if you want to use the Fire Positive Fire Chain have a way to set that up... yeah its a macro basically, but for a class like monk you kinda need something like that... well I do cause I don't have a keyboard that can do it and I doing the click click click click click click ... its just annoying isn't a good flowing combat style. This would be good for Casters and Tactics fighters too. Maybe havea 4-5 button combo system then its only one button at a time you have to set up


    3. honestly I think a 5% increase in Unarmed fighting speed would be a better way to balance out the styles for the monk.

    2. i my big problem with the specail attack everytime i hit the attack in my hot bar my kobalt run away and i miss 60% of the time i would like to see them stack together like we with weopon sets say be able to stack a 3 combo together so when you hit the move it goes into a complex combo attack to take the arm work out of it but you get to decide how you want to make the combo attacks.

    Make it easier maybe, Use the ki elemental attack and your weapon is charged until the next time it strikes an enemy? That'd be nice.

    Also, make it so ki recharges while you are in town up to your base concentration score. Sure, it's just so I can use abundant step more often in town, but it's fun
