The Ogre is Krung the Brutal. The bag definitely refers to him as a kobold anyway. But I agree with you. I've never seen a named kobold up the ladder, whether in the room before Krung or in the room with Krung. I've been playing since just after beta and must have run waterworks a kazillion times. (that's why this is bugging me so much

    A better hint please Silthe?

Well I'm stuck at work, counting the second until I can leave. So unfortunately I can't log in and check things out first hand to help out.

I think we've posted all the places where named kobolds can appear in part 3 anyway.

Wait, who is the named Kobold that appears underneath the stairs below the ladder up to Krung tht Brutal's section?

Ok I think that covers all of them now.

Yes, there has been substantial progress. I'm not ready to give you a list of what's fixed though since many still need to go through testing.

As it looks now though, Mod 9 should have a significant number (if not all) of handwrap effects fixed. I won't commit to that, however, until they've been through our testing process.

I've just had it further explained to me that most of the fixes we're doing (and have already done in Mod 8 and it's patches) won't fix existing handwraps without you putting them through the Stone of Change. They just make sure all new handwraps that drop work correctly.

If you are having a problem with a handwrap that has dropped since the latest update, please send me a PM with details and I'll make sure it's being addressed.

So all handwraps will be fixed, period....and we will be seeing greensteel weave handwraps in a patch coming next week.

    Got it.

Fine, I tracked the little kibbie down. He's definitely in WW3. He's in the last section of the dungeon. You'll know it's him because he'll have a couple pets with him.

That hint about "blue" I think just refers to Clan Tunnelworm. At some point there was the whole Red Gnashtooth vs. Blue Tunnelworm rivalry going but I don't think it came out in the story that clearly.

Really? Like with the spiders? Thanks for tracking it down but dang it, I've never, ever seen him. He isn't behind some uber-hard secret door is he? (thinking of the old secret doors with the switches no one even knew about in the old Low Road)

If anyone reading this has ever seen this bad-boy (Narsatch is his name ) please, please let me know.

Well the last part is either

1)The water room you drop down into, and I can't say that I ever remember seeing a named in there...

    2) The hallway beyond that, there are some spiders in that hall I believe, but I've never seen a named there either... or

    3) In the final room....

A named Kobold Shaman can indeed spawn in the area where you have to use the underwater switch to get past.

You mean the part next to the acid room? If so, that's Witch Doctor Squagh. Steiner-Davion was talking about the water room where you dropping down the tube. I've never seen one in there, or with the spiders, or in the final room.

Hehehe. I think a better answer is that he "supposed to spawn" in the last section of the dungeon. It appears that no one has ever seen him so I'm still questioning whether he's "definitely" in WW3. I would guess that he must be in the room right when you drop down since he's not with the spiders by the shrine and they probably wouldn't put a named kobold with the hobgoblin emissary and Chief Jittik is the named in the final room. Post if you've actually seen him. I thought I knew everything about WW but this one has me stumped.

WW last part, part 4 i think, He's hiding behind the door that leads through the wolf room with the head chopper trap. Essentially you open 1 door after that and you see 4 cages and another door. Open that second door and voila ogre.

Blah nm... think I'm getting my ogres confused.

There is one in part 3 but its not in the last section but up the ladder in the middle section. Don't remember his name though.

Silthe, is he definitely a Kobold? Because from the sounds of it no one ever actually seen a Kobold with that name.

i've probably done waterworks 500 times and never seen a named kobold spawn there. however, i've also never seen the hobgoblin emissary spawn on the first door open either (but always the second). it wouldn't surprise me if both spawns have a "you must do this 2x" condition on them - easy with the door, not so easy with the other named.

Yes, he's a kobold. Also keep in mind that this kobold was likely added with the bounty system in Mod 7, so don't count all your trips through WW before that.

I will do my best to get him to spawn legitimately in our test environment just to be sure. I know he worked fine when Mod 7 came out, but I'm willing to accept the possibility that he broke somehow since then.

I'll let you know when I see him work.

Thanks Silthe, it is good to know that we all are not necessarily going crazy for nothing. It never occured to me that you all would have been so sneaky as to add yet another rare named to the Waterworks or any other quests when you added the bounty system.
