So now we can't quote the thing directly but have to copy/paste it from the Compendium to discuss the notes?

Are you trying to hamper discussion of the game changes this much?

When they posted about taking away the WDA they said this is what they would do.

and all it took was 4 seconds for me to copy/paste into a post and voila. Release notes have always been locked threads to begin with

You could always multi-quote the original thread to drag the notes over. Now you have to copy/paste it without any formatting.

The Compendium is good and all, but I'd rather have them back on the forum directly. The Compendium is often slow or laggy due to massive access requests.
