Rainbow/Gamma, I need help!!!!

I need help. I turned my gamma up for rainbow like everyone told me to do. but I crashed mid through. relogged and finished the quest. but now when i leave ddo all my other site, screen, games. everything is that same high gamma level. how do i turn it back down for non ddo gaming?

Okay, I did what everyone tells me to do and turned up my gamma for rainbow. Problem is I crashed, and when i logged back on the gamma was still high. so I finished the quest, returned the gamma to normal and then quit the game. now heres the problem. the REST of the computer is still in that gamma light. how do I return my non ddo screen light to normal? my eyes are bleeding and I cant see the screen

its not the game. all my other non ddo everything is that high gamma. when I log onto ddo it is normal. its when Im not on ddo that its high. :*(

Reboot your computer. Go into DDO, set the gamma properly. Quit out normally

Tehre should be a gamma setting in your graphic card settings, On mY ATI Here, Its inteh CCC under the "Color" settings. I dont recal what the setting is at home on my Desktop withmy 8800GTX off hand though.. Probobly SImilar.

just rebooting fixed the issue. but why did it carry over in the first place? anyone know?

Probably when it crashed it locked your DDO gamma setting since it probably did not know to shut if off due to the unnatural closing of the program.
