    Default Set of Crossbows

This aren't the most uber or anything, but it's a nice set. Simple weapons proficiency means that almost anyone can use them (not sure if the wizards can or not) but almost anyone.

+3 Wounding of Puncturing light crossbow, ml 14
    +2 Paralyzing heavy crossbow, ml12
+1 Keen light crossbow of disruption ml12
+2 darkwood heavy crossbow of smiting ml12

I'd like them to all go in one trade and I'm not requesting anything unreasonable. The first fair offer I receive (or one I choose if several come in at once gets the set). Any offer built around tomes, plat or ingredients (any size, even base components) will be considered. Thank you for your time, you can post in here or pm me with any offers. Anyone that's traded with me before will tell you its easy trading with me, I'm not looking for anything crazy.

from my experience, it will be hard to get anything for them. yes, anyone can use them but with a few disadvantages. slow rof, heavy and cumbersome (meaning you need a high str to carry many of them) and a high dex to hit reliably. all my xbows are sold to the brokers...... but if they are repeating..... you got winners
If you want to know why...

yeah I'm not expecting anything incredible from them, but they are fun to use from a nice perch if you're out of spell points

Why are you even posting in here unless to make an offer? There is no reason to, really. I've no desire to begin an pen pal relationship with anyone, I'm just seeing if anyone would like to make a trade for a set of 4 crossbows I no longer feel like using. If you aren't interested, please, just go to the next thread and don't harass me.

I said the following "aren't the most uber or anything" "I'm not requesting anything unreasonable" "I'm not looking for anything crazy" in my original post, and then again, to further clarify "yeah I'm not expecting anything incredible from them". It should be clear by now I'm not the guy posting this type of stuff on AH for a million or whatever.

I just bought a +1 tome of int for 140k gold. It's not outstanding, but its not bad either. I have 3 sitting in my bank now, I will possibly give them away, use them on new builds, or..who knows? The point is I never asked for, nor implied that I was holding out for a full set of 6 +2 tomes as a starting point for negotiations. I said a reasonable offer.

Kindly don't post in here unless you're going to make an offer, the point of my thread isn't for you to state the obvious (repeating is better, etc.) it's for INTERESTED parties to make an offer. Please, make an offer or leave me alone. I'll accept, reject or counter.

Seriously stuff like this kills the desire to play DDO more than lag and people stopping to type "vorpal" in the middle of a long fight after every 20 they roll.

seem like you can comment on threads but not allow people to do so. when this was posted in khyber, it din stop you either

i'm trying to tell you that no one is interested in them and you could be better off selling them to the brokers than asking people for tomes, ingredients and plat

You posted a thread in the Khyber server...cool. It wasn't the marketplace on Khyber where someone was trying to trade something and I was annoying the person needlessly telling them what OTHER people had or did not have interest in. In this situation, you're being annoying without cause. According to wikipedia "An Internet troll, or simply troll in Internet slang, is someone who posts controversial and usually irrelevant or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum or chat room, with the intention of baiting other users into an emotional response[1] or to generally disrupt normal on-topic discussion"

To repeat again, from my own words below "Kindly don't post in here unless you're going to make an offer, the point of my thread...it's for INTERESTED parties to make an offer. Please, make an offer or leave me alone." So, I'm not really sure as to why you wasted the time to post that link, as it is just further clarifying the difference between an opinion/discussion thread (in a server forum) and one that is set up just for trading.

You can not possibly answer for everyone on the Thelanis server. Possibly someone will want a set of 4 xbows, on the cheap. This message is for that person, not for someone who has previously offended me and wishes to do so again. This wasn't posted in general discussion, "Hey would anyone want these?" It was posted asking for a trade, seriously, you're antagonizing me without provocation.

I've said it again and again, kindly leave me alone. I don't wish to trade with you, or discuss anything with you. At this point, all you are doing is harassing me. This will be the final time I ask you to stop without reporting your harassment. You've been offensive and negative to me in previously, I DO NOT WISH TO TALK TO YOU. Please go away and leave me alone. I'm not that interesting, and it IS possible to stop talking to me, just ask one of my ex-girlfriends!

You will need a high haggle for a vendor to even buy those ,you can also save face and come back and say traded when most know you wont even get an offer for those .

Thats what the other poster tried to explain i think theese are not worth zilch nor the time to post them nor the space they get on the market place ,listen to the vendor groaning when you sell them ,maybe if hes hypnotized or fascinated .Not worth a tome not an ingredient and definately worth plat coppers maybe .

They weren't worth my time either but im a generous guy , like you .And look at any other thread you want, the please dont post anyting else than an offer here, whats that all about now you decide when people can reply in threads and what they can reply ,who are you ?Setting new forums protocoles ?

Hi, Gaxpar. There are previous reasons accounting for my less than hospitable attitude in a previous conversation. We can probably blame it on my old age.

I'm not expecting the world for them, or even a very high offer, but my cleric used the set quite frequently while soloing. The two I purchased on AH were cheap to come by (obviously, not being repeaters, and other disadvantages to being really terrific weapons) but being cheap and able to serve their purpose is why I got them in the first place. When soloing (esp in explorer areas) if I could find a nice perch I could use the smiter/disruptor pretty well on auto attack, and it enabled me to take it easy on my spell points. If I hadn't gotten 2 of them in rapid succession as end rewards (before I could sell them even) I never would have used them, but hey, I got two pretty rapidly, then when going to post them for sale found two more very cheap on AH. As a set of 4, I liked them for when they served their purpose. My baby cleric was going to inherit them, but as he pulled a Dwarven thrower, (unbound even)it's much more convenient to just use that for ranged attacks than carrying for xbows and waiting until level 12.

If no one does indeed want them, that's ok too, I certainly understand that. I still say that they aren't totally useless. As a set of 4, for a character that solos they CAN have some worth, which is the only reason I posted them on here in the first place. Are they going to bring in a high offer? Most assuredly not. Are they going to bring in any? Quite possibly not, but my cleric 12 would have considered buying the set to stretch out sps. That's the beautiful thing about DDO though, you can really have very varied ideas about what measures to take to solve certain problems.
