Two monks looking for a guild

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a monk, but since you had poor hand-eye coordination you kept hitting yourself in the eye with your own shurikans? Well, we have. We were also saddened to learn that Khyber doesn't have a monk academy, Battle Ham wasn't a traditional monk weapon, and temple chants didn't generally start with "One hundred bottles of Sake on the wall..." I will cut this short and satisfy the requirements of the court order handed to me on March 3rd, me and my brother are looking for a guild to join.

Who are we? Currently, a pair of level 10 fairly new monks. No heavy raid gear, no tombs, still have 28-point build monks. Will probably end up re-rolling if we ever do get to 1750, and that can be dealt with at the time.

As I mentioned, we are brothers in real life, and we duo alot. We are pretty self-sufficient, but do not mind grouping with others. We pick on each other alot because... we're brothers. It's what happens, take my word on it. It what happens when Sibling Rivelry turns into Sibling Vendetta.

What we are looking for? A casual, friendly guild. One that is active, but not demanding. We aren't necessarily looking for so much constant grouping, but for people to chat with, ask advice of (there's so much to re-learn), and to mutually help and get help from.

We want a no or, at the least, low-drama environment. Just tired of it, at this point. We can roleplay, and I personally enjoy it alot, but i'm not so sure I want to commit to a heavy RP guild, either. I can promise that you will never see the letter U represented as a shortened form of the word "you", and that - for the most part - my spelling and grammer is correct. I can't say as much for my brother, unfortunately, but you become numb to it after about 27 years. Trust me.

And that's, honestly, it. Would we like to raid? Sure, if it can happen. Both of us want white dragonscale robes, too, but it isn't necessary. Just looking for a home, people to talk with, occasionally group with, and we're not really needy about anything else. =)

We have a registered TS server that we all hang out in and chat either while in group, in game, or just wanna get on and talk.

Most of us are pretty chalk full of knowledge about DDO and DnD. We have learned many of the games' mechanics from each other and from others through our vast journeys. We have many players that are within your level range that I'm sure could be beneficial to everyone.

Riosse has been a pal of mine for some time -- don't run into that much nowadays, but when I do it's always fun to be had.

I think Stormhaven would be a great guild for the both of you siblings, they know how to quest and they know how to have fun.

There are other options out there as well, but I can certianly say Stormhaven is a good guild to be with.

I assure you that we bring the kind of maturity that comes from players who just realized that you can jump while in the middle of an attack sequence and look like you're doing jumping roundhouse kicks. Actually, that's just me. I can't help it!

If you haven't already picked a guild you come with us look up anyone with the guildname and ask to be directed to an officer. I do believe I posted on this before and you happen to be in luck because we are currently lvling toons from around 10-12 right now (to tell the truth I don't know when I stopped running around in shroud and gianthold and started on stk and ww again) if you can contact Aisi or Dynyd, that would be great that way I would actually know who you are, my guildies only rarely look on the forums as far as I know and by the look of the amount of responses for guilds it looks like only me and Agarth are the only ones who respond to these kind of things.

Well, it's kind of a sad truth. Many people do not look on the forums for new server folk. They normally just happen to run into them adventuring in PUGs. Nothing wrong with this, but it's not very helpful for those people who make the original post who are looking for a guild. Hence why you and I are around Lord.

Well, we came to the forums and looked through the guild listing first. A bit hesitent to run PUGs or group due to a lifetime of gaming bad experiences with them.

Plus, since we only really know the quests we've actually done, we pretty much don't... know anything, and don't necessarily want to burden a pickup any more by slowing everyone down We'd rather be a burden to an entire guild... er... I said the quiet part loud and the loud part quiet again.
