    Some people may hate me for this, but remember I have both a cleric (albeit low level) and sorcerer.

    I feel that the improved metamagic feats should be available to wizards, exclusively. As masters of metamagic, it should be their sole realm of expertise.

    I feel that sorcerers should get some other kind of enhancement instead, such as a universal spell damage increasing enhancement similar to the potency effect.

    I don't see why it would be limited to Wizards... Sorc can do everything a wiz can do, just with more focus. So If a Sorc wanted to be a completed CC build, why not? Where Sorc get their limit is the reduced spell selection (ya, not a big deal given how poor DDO spell selectin is) and the reduced feats. I don't think we need to relegate sorc to just physical damage spells.

    Nothing stops the sorc from being a "completed" cc build by not having improved meta's.

    However, a sorcerer is not MEANT to be as adept as a wizard at using metamagics. For example, sorcerers can't spontaneously cast metamagic'd spells (IIRC, correct me if I am wrong), whereas they can spontaneously cast spells otherwise.

    Additionally, the universal damage bonus was just an idea for a replacement enhancement. If somebody can come up with something better, which fits within the lore of DnD, I am more than happy to go along with it.

    Well that is true...but then Wizards aren't supposed to be able to spontaneously cast at all

    I never said they should be able to However, since we are on the spell point variation, they have to in a way.

    And, it should take the a full round action to cast a spell using a metamagic feat, not this rapid casting garbage that sorcerers have for some unknown reason.

    This also gives a Cleric all wiz/sorc wands without umd. How many clerics can have a good enough umd to use a stoneskin wand?

    The hubby had haste mem'd, as all our caster types. May not be our first choice as Sorcerer for a spell, but it makes it to the bar eventually.

    My Hot bar IS my combat spells. Yeah, I'm a healbot.
